viXra is an open access electronic repository for preprint papers from all areas
of science, mathematics, and humanity including religion and spiritualism. It
began in July 2009 as a non-profit project based in the UK and run by unpaid
individuals with an interest in scientific progress. With EU legislation such as
GDPR and upload filters becoming more restrictive, it was decided in 2019 to
move viXra under the umbrella of a US-based non-profit organisation. Its
ownership and operation was therefore transferred effective October 1, 2019 to
Scientific God Inc.

Scientific GOD, Inc. ("SGI") is a New York not-for-profit corporation with
501(c)(3) tax exempt status as of March 1, 2010 and publishes Scientific GOD
Journal ("SGJ", ISSN: 2153-831X). Besides publishing Scientific GOD Journal,
SGI's other objectives includes conducting scientific research on GOD and
promoting the said research by organizing scientific conferences, etc.(when
feasible). The scope of SGI's activities will depend on its available funds and
other resources plus its ability to raise additional funds.

SCIENTIFIC GOD INSTITUTE IS ENTERING IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

According to Dr. Huping Hu, Scientific GOD Institute (SGI) is entering
implementation phase after he started the exploratory work. The purpose of SGI
is to conduct scientific inquiries on the nature and origins of life, mind,
physical laws and mathematics and their possible connections to a scientifically
approachable transcendent Existence - he calls "Scientific GOD."

Four major projects are under development - a comprehensive web site, a popular
magazine, a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and an extensive e-print archive
for scholars to deposit and exchange research papers.
