FAQ

WHEN IS THE CLINIC OPENING?

Outback Care Podiatry clinic will be opening in March 2024. The date of our
first clinic will be advertised soon. We are looking forward to meeting our new
clients 

DO I NEED A REFERRAL?

No, you don’t need a referral to access Outback Care Podiatry. However,
referrals from other health professionals can be helpful in providing relevant
medical history and information to our podiatrist to assist in providing you the
best possible care.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

You can book an appointment through our online booking system at your
convenience. Alternatively, you can call the Outback Care phone number during
business hours and one of our friendly team will help you.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

Currently full payment for a podiatry consultation is required at the time of
attending the appointment, using a credit card or debit card.

If you are eligible for reimbursement for all or part of your podiatry fees
through your private health insurance, Medicare, or other you will be provided
with an invoice to use for this purpose. Currently we do not have HICAPS or
Medicare rebate facilities.

We are a cash-free clinic.

CAN I USE MY PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE?

You may be able to seek a rebate from your private health insurance for your
podiatry care. This depends on your policy and questions are best directed to
your private health insurance provider.

We do not currently have HICAPS facilities.

You will be required to pay for your podiatry appointment on the day and will be
issued an invoice to take to your private health provider.

WHAT ARE THE APPOINTMENT FEES?

Please see our fee schedule for this information.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE MY APPOINTMENT?

If you can’t make your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible via
phone or use the cancellation link in your confirmation email. If it’s more than
24 hours before your visit, no worries at all. If plans change last minute, we
understand, but please note cancellations within 24 hours do require payment in
full. We’re here to help, so don’t hesitate to call us at 08 91946890
