It is inspired by the movement and textures that occur within the Tanzanian savanna. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Macho Ya Bahari 22cm x 11cm Earthenware Unglazed An earthenware sculpture, titled “macho ya bahari” in swahili, which means eye of the ocean. This structure resembles and mimics movements and shapes within the ocean, and the patterns themselves are inspired by Orbicella annularis, a coral that may look big and simple from afar, but the closer you get the more details tend to appear. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Untitled Vase Stonewear A Light Seasalt Glaze 19cm x 18cmThis piece is inspired by sea urchin skeletons and alcyonacea (fan corals).
