beginning - how to gradually improve, so that you can achieve your goals

Receive personalized training plans, coaching and workshops that include
workouts tailored to you. From trail runs to long jogs, from sprints to strength
exercises - it’s training with structure that makes you capable and strong.

Run a 10 km, half or full marathon like you mean it. Build the endurance to go
on a peaceful 15 km Sunday long run. Feel capable with strength exercises. Know
what to eat around workouts, and when to rest in order to grow.

Improvement comes from consistency. Consistency comes from being clear about
your goals and needs. We structure your training to wrap around your existing
plans and commitments.

Lucky for us, no pain no gain was yesterday. I’ll show you a gentle way to
improve - a way that helps you be in-tune with your body and mind.

HI THERE, I’M DJAMILA…




…an intuitive heart and thirsty mind with a love for trail - and endurance
running. A nerd for forests and cold mountain lakes. I’ve been running single
trails since I was single digits.

Running keeps my head on straight and my body full of life. I love to run 10
minutes or 10 hours and anything in between.

I’d love to show you the flow state of running. The sweet spot that feels free
and effortless - just you & the rhythm of your breath.

I’m an advanced certified running coach by Swiss Athletics, with a focus on
endurance & trail running. My continued education includes running form,
strength training and nutrition.
Plus, I’m a sponge for all things running science & research. Don’t get me
started, unless we’re on a long run! :)

YOU MAY ASK…

 * I DON’T WANT TO TRAIN FOR RACES. CAN I STILL RUN WITH YOU?
   
   
   Yes, of course! Let’s run for the sake of running, not only for results -
   whether you are training for a race or not.
   
   

 * HOW MANY DAYS PER WEEK DO I NEED TO RUN?
   
   
   This depends on your goals, how fit you are and the time you have available
   to run. Anywhere from 3 days per week to see improvements, up to 6 training
   days for advanced runners. If you do other sports regularly, I’ll leave room
   for those in your schedule.
   
   

 * DO YOU OFFER STRENGTH TRAINING FOR RUNNERS?
   
   
   Yes. I believe strength training is an important part of a sustainable
   long-term training approach. However, if and what kind of strength training
   makes sense in your case, will be determined in our call.
   
   

 * I’M PLANNING A RACE. HOW MANY WEEKS DO I NEED TO GET READY?
   
   
   This depends on several factors, most importantly on your current level of
   fitness and your goal distance. Generally, I recommend 16 to 20 weeks. Let’s
   chat for recommendations specific to you.
   
   

 * I JUST SIGNED UP FOR A TRAINING PLAN - WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
   
   
   You will fill out my New Runner Q&A, which tells me where you stand and where
   you’d like to go. Based on your answers, I’ll create training
   recommendations, and we get on a call. Lets talk it through - what works for
   you and your life? Your training plan will be updated weekly, and we’ll have
   a weekly check-in.
   
   

 * WHAT IF I GET SICK IN A TRAINING CYCLE?
   
   
   If you get sick, I will adjust the schedule to include reduced training or
   total rest. If you are completely out for more than 2 weeks, you may pause
   your coaching subscription until you are ready to run again. If you need to
   see a physio, I’m happy to accommodate their recommendations in your
   training.
   
   

 * WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AFTER SIGNING UP?
   
   
   If you’re not satisfied with the coaching, you may cancel within the first
   two weeks and receive a full refund of your investment. After this, you may
   cancel your coaching subscription until the 20th day of each month for the
   following month.
