WELCOME TO FX ILLUSIONS

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Steve Courtney, Managing
Director of FX Illusions Pty Ltd (FXI). My company and I have supplied Special
Effects services to the film & theme-park industries for over 40 years.

FXI offers services in Project Design & Management, Special Effects Design &
Supervision, Mechanical Engineering, Stunt Rigging, Specialty & Action Vehicles,
Armory and Pyrotechnics.

Located on the Gold Coast, in Queensland Australia, FXI’s fully equipped Special
Effects Design and Engineering facility can handle any project.
In addition to our Engineering Facility FXI also has a variety of mobile
equipment including a portable workshop to cater for interstate and overseas
locations.

Whatever you require for your next theme-park ride or attraction, film,
television series, commercial or corporate event, we can work with you to make
it a truly spectacular and unforgettable experience for your audience.


PYROTECHNICS

As experts in the field of Pyrotechnics, FXI (FXI) are reguarly approached to
provide breathtaking fire effects for feature films, small & large budget
television shows and special events.
Our list of achievements include many spectacular fireball explosions for war
scenes, buildings (minature to full scale), cars and boats, not to mention
raging infernos within buildings and structures of all descriptions.

Whether it’s alight with flame, burning to the ground or exploding to pieces,
FXI have the resources to achieve the pyrotechnic effects you want.


THE FXI TEAM

The FXI team of experienced artisans, fabricators, designers and engineers have
come together from a variety of different skill backgrounds to produce
world-class movie special effects.

From the initial design and engineering stage through to the finished
fabrication by our skilled team of qualified mechanics, welders and machinists,
we have the resources and skills to handle any project.
