The rise of Artificial Intelligence and generative language tools like ChatGPT
have brought about remarkable advances across so many domains. But many have
begun to question whether these technological developments risk sapping the
human race of what makes us human: empathy, judgment, creativity and
originality.

Join us at our next Made by McGill alumni webcast as we sit down with a pair of
McGill professors and technology experts to explore the darker side of the AI
revolution and discuss what measures we ought to be thinking about to contain
the risks.

With:

Andrew Piper, Professor and William Dawson Scholar of Cultural Analytics,
Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures

Derek Ruths, Associate Professor, School of Computer Science

Moderated by Derek Cassoff, Managing Director, Communications, McGill University
Advancement
