Summary

The electric mobility revolution is well underway in the US. The sales of new
electric vehicles in the US doubled in 2021 over the previous year. For this
impressive trend to continue, accessible and reliable public charging
infrastructure build-out would need to match surging vehicle sales. The
continued political will and industry support are signs enough that this
challenge is being addressed.

Global Transmission Report will be back in New York on October 5-6 at The Westin
New York Grand Central with the 4th annual edition of its EV Charging
Infrastructure US conference. The event will highlight the opportunities, plans,
policies, and solutions to build a smart and efficient public charging
infrastructure in the US.

The event will present plans and programs for strengthening the EV charging
infrastructure across the country. It will feature the initiatives of leading
utilities and charging network operators in advancing the build-out of this
infrastructure. It will showcase the next-gen technologies, platforms, and
solutions for charging, managing interoperability issues and improving customer
experience. The event will also discuss optimal strategies to address fleet
electrification challenges.

The conference will bring together policymakers, regulators, utilities, EVSEs,
automotive OEMs, and other key stakeholders to share their experiences,
perspectives and lessons learned, discuss operational challenges and best
practices, and showcase technology and innovations that will drive the next wave
of public EV charging infrastructure in the US.
