The guy running the store was incredible knowledgeable and helpful in finding us some comics to get our daughters collection started. Now it's mostly a bong and porn shop (LMAO @ buying porn since the invention of the internet) ran by the president of the Uncle Minh fan club. I always wanted to check it out since I moved to Antioch over 4 years ago but I never really had the time to do so. I needed some top loaders for my cards and so I stopped in. Place took me back to days gone by when I walked in. I instantly remembered where there use to be card and comic shop all over towns around the Bay like this one here. There is some real cool stuff in there. Met Ralf the owner. He is a real cool dude and a straight shooter. I really enjoyed talking to him. Down to earth dude that won't BS you. San Francisco, CA 1 7 1 12/14/2018 Arrived at the store (Fri, 12/14) a few minutes after the posted open hour, but it was still closed. I waited for nearly an hour before leaving at 1:58pm. I was both disappointed as well as put out after driving nearly 50 minutes from Stockton. Regardless of his business volume, how can any business owner expect to stay in business if they don't honor their own store hours, especially this close to Christmas. It was my intent to spend at least $120 on comic bags, boards and boxes. His loss. Although this shop has a handful of good reviews here on Yelp!, I do NOT recommend this shop. I've seen previous posts say that he's not there when it says it's open but if you call he answers and let's you know if he's running late.
