We hope you are well and thank you for your continued loyalty and support. After two months of returning to practice we continue to remain diligent in our efforts to provide you and your family with safe and effective dental care. There are many new guidelines and protocols in place to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, which remains our top priority. Some of these measures include: * Patient pre-screening at the time of booking (Copy of questions found here: http://health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/publichealth/coronavirus/docs/2019_patient_screening_guidance.pdf) * Screening and temperature checks upon arrival * Daily staff screening and temperature checks * Enhanced PPE * Pre-procedural rinses with an anti-bacterial and anti-viral solution * Increased number of hand hygiene stations * Disinfection of common touchpoints after use and at regular intervals * Enhanced HEPA and UV-C air purification systems in each operatory * One-way patient flow through the office ADDITIONAL MEASURE WE ARE ASKING OF OUR PATIENTS: * Physical distancing protocols * Plexiglass and other physical barriers * Touchless paper towel dispensers in lavatories * Signage to promote hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene, and physical distancing * Staggered appointment times to avoid or limit direct, face-to-face interaction with others * Increased time between appointments for removal of aerosols, air purification and deep sanitization of operatories * Options for Tele-dentistry consultation for those who prefer or cannot come to the office * If you are ill or develop symptoms, please contact us immediately and DO NOT come to your appointment. * Please bring a mask to your appointment (ex. procedural/surgical mask, cloth covering, or other appropriate face covering). * Upon arrival, please wait in your vehicle. Contact the office at 905-331-7654 to let us know you have arrived and await further instructions before entering. * Practice social distancing by maintaining a 2 meter distance from others (except for the provision of care) as much as possible. * Individuals accompanying a patient must wait outside the practice unless absolutely required (ex. a parent accompanying a young child or a patient who requires accommodation). * Cash transactions are currently not being accepted. Credit or debit only. Our office hours have been amended to accommodate our patient’s needs: MONDAY: 7am – 8pm TUESDAY: 7am – 8pm WEDNESDAY: 7am – 5pm THURSDAY: 7am – 5pm FRIDAY: 8am – 2pm We know many people have missed appointments, and we cannot wait to see all of your wonderful smiles again. Called the office just after 7:00am and was in the chair being fixed up by 8:15am. The level of service by the entire staff and professionalism is second to none. Keep up the great work! Our family has been going here for 15 years. The staff is very accommodating and professional. You can tell they have invested the money in training and equipment to stay at the top of their game. Dr. Hill is very personable and a great dentist. Melissa is without a doubt the best hygienist I have had. We come from out of town and it is well worth the drive. Keep up the great work! They made the whole experience very easy, fast, and provided follow up care to ensure we were doing the exercises and healing properly. I would highly recommend for anyone who has a baby with a tongue tie. McKayS_NF 19 Sep, 2019 We got a recommendation from someone after our newborn arrived. Dr. Hill was a specialist in treating our newborns condition and our insurance covered it. Dr. Hill and her associates made our experience very comfortable especially when it came to our baby's care. They were very professional and helpful in explaining what they did and how to future care our baby. It made us happy and we highly recommend them to everyone who had the same thing as our daughter! Thanks! S G 29 May, 2018 A lactation consultant from a Peel Public Health breastfeeding clinic referred our (then) 3 month old son to Dr. Sherri Hill for a tongue tie release. Dr. Hill assessed our son and advised us of the benefits of the procedure and any (rare) possible side effects there could be. Without any pressure, they gave us time to discuss whether we wished to have our son go through the procedure (this is our first child so we were obviously very nervous). Due to his age, Dr. Hill snipped the tongue tie instead of using laser. They offered a follow up appointment at no charge to see if the tongue tie release was healing well. Our son is almost 5 months now and the tongue tie release has helped him a lot. Dr. Hill and her staff were amazing and treated us with so much care and support.
