 * TUITION INSURANCE
   
   The University of Texas at Austin has proudly partnered with GradGuard™ to
   offer tuition insurance to students and families. This protection strengthens
   our existing refund policy and can provide reimbursement for tuition,
   housing, and other fees if a student withdraws for a covered medical reason
   at any time during the covered semester.


 * PREPARING FOR STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS TO RESTART
   
   Student loan repayments that were paused as part of the CARES Act in March
   2020 are set to return to repayment after August 31, 2023. Find more
   information about the impact on federal and institutional (UT) loans as well
   as how borrowers can prepare for return to payment.


 * NET PRICE CALCULATOR
   
   The cost of attendance includes more than tuition. The net price includes
   even more detailed information to determine what an individual undergraduate
   student will likely pay. Get a personalized estimate of the net price of
   attending The University of Texas at Austin for the 2022-23 academic year
   based on your major, personal finances, housing, potential financial aid
   awards, possible VA Education Benefits and more.


 * CONTINUING AND TRANSFER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
   
   Current UT students, transfer applicants, and returning UT students who are
   planning to attend UT during the 2024–25 academic year are eligible to submit
   the Continuing & Transfer Student Scholarship Application. The application
   deadline is March 15, 2024.


 * TEXAS FINANCIAL WELLNESS
   
   Texas Financial Wellness is a new resource created to provide with the tools
   needed to improve student financial health.


 * SENDING A TRANSCRIPT FOR UT TRANSFER CREDITS
   
   Visit the Transcript Submission section in Admissions for details on how to
   submit your transcript from another school for transfer credits.

   Spring 2024 registration ends; Last day to apply for a graduate degree

 * 14Nov
   
   Spring 2024 tuition bills distributed to students

 * 17Nov
   
   Last day a doctoral candidate may hold a dissertation defense for the Fall
   2023 semester

 * 20Nov
   
   Last day a graduate student may change registration in a class to or from the
   credit/no credit basis; Fall break begins and no classes are held
