Kilcullen, M.S. Ed 1/4 ABOUT EXPLORING THE WONDER YEARS I believe that all people have an innate sense of wonder; it is instinctive. However, young people especially possess a great deal of curiosity about the world around them. Everything is new to them and life is full of possibilities. The mission of Exploring the Wonder Years (EWY), is to support families, educators, organizations, and individuals to rediscover this sense of wonder. EWY’s pursuit is to encourage each person to share and explore the narrative of their life, and through reflective practice highlight their strengths and abilities. The framework for reflective practice is asking open ended questions about individual thought processes, feelings and behaviors. This strength-based focus will set the foundation for the goal-setting process.
