The part that I thought was true but isn't: Flansburgh wrote the nonsense lyrics
that he sang, and Linnell's response was just the absolute most ruthless
accidental dunk of all time

but in a 2018 interview, Flansburgh says that Linnell had actually sent
Flansburgh the first set of lyrics to sing. so all the lyrics were written by
Linnell, with the kid's album in mind.

aww, I just learned that my absolute favourite piece of TMBG trivia is not quite
actually true.

The part that is true: They were making two albums at the same time, a kid's
album and a regular album. John Flansburgh thought "Thinking Machine" was for
the adult album, but then as they were finishing it, John Linnell sent him a
file where he'd added a character who responded to every one of Flansburgh's
lines with stuff like "Pretty sure that's gibberish" because he'd assumed it was
a kid's song

@lewis @lewis@weird.autos Yes! It's just one relay and it doesn't control
anything. It's epoxied to the back of the sheet metal and it get clicked by the
arduino every time a light turns on or off just to make it sound like the lights
are controlled by relays, as they might have been in a real sign

@MLE_online @MLE_online@social.afront.org I'm guessing you incorporated the
relays just because of the sound they make? If so that rules.

Please bear with us

We haven't had a release in a while, so things might look and feel different
than what you're used to.

Please report any issues and bugs on Pleroma GitLab, as we have changed a lot,
and although we test thoroughly and use development versions ourselves, we may
have missed some things. We welcome your feedback and suggestions on issues you
might encounter, or how to improve Pleroma and Pleroma-FE.

For more details on what's changed, see the full changelog.
