We wanted to build a WordPress plug-in — we wanted to create a timetable for a website and needed custom development services. SOLUTION What was the scope of their involvement? Tidbit Solutions developed our WordPress plug-in, which was essentially a zip file built using PHP. They also used jQuery. The plug-in development was quite simple. Using the plug-in, users can input data on the backend, and the frontend reflects that data in a timetable. They can then switch between the different weeks and days using a calendar function. The timetable also automatically shows the current day of the week. What is the team composition? About five teammates worked on the project, and I communicated with the customer advisor, a sales teammate, and a developer. How did you come to work with Tidbit Solutions? Their sales teammate reached out to me on LinkedIn over a year ago. How much have you invested with them? I was initially quoted £1,300 (approximately $1,500 USD), but because of the additional work that needed to be done, it ended up costing £2,000 (approximately $2,300 USD). Tidbits has the right blend of quality, communication, value and collaboration. They work very well with our team and are essentially a fully integrated unit of our business. Numerous projects, too many to list. They have designed and developed multiple sites for us, they manage the technical aspects of many of the websites that we work with. We have worked with about 5 or so people but really work with a core set of 3 people. The communication and personal relationships with the people there has helped us work more efficiently together. I don't have to have the back and forth of quoting and figuring out who can do what, because we know what to expect and work well together. Many of the sites we have designed and worked on with SEO campaigns have seen a significant rise in inquiries. Possibly the most impressive one was a new website for a start up company in the health space (very competitive) and we get requests for similar sites as well as generating 100s of local monthly inquiries for the business. Perhaps the more valuable less tangible result is just the seamless integration of our businesses that lets us do what we do best - SEO. This is rare for such set-ups, especially as it works so well. We have instituted some quality checks and controls to make sure we are all on the same page prior to starting a project.
