I’m the director at a digital marketing agency that creates websites.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tidbit Solutions?

We wanted to build a WordPress plug-in — we wanted to create a timetable for a
website and needed custom development services. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tidbit Solutions developed our WordPress plug-in, which was essentially a zip
file built using PHP. They also used jQuery. The plug-in development was quite
simple. 

Using the plug-in, users can input data on the backend, and the frontend
reflects that data in a timetable. They can then switch between the different
weeks and days using a calendar function. The timetable also automatically shows
the current day of the week. 

What is the team composition?

About five teammates worked on the project, and I communicated with the customer
advisor, a sales teammate, and a developer. 

How did you come to work with Tidbit Solutions?

Their sales teammate reached out to me on LinkedIn over a year ago. 

How much have you invested with them?

I was initially quoted £1,300 (approximately $1,500 USD), but because of the
additional work that needed to be done, it ended up costing £2,000
(approximately $2,300 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

This project was from May–August 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The plug-in improved the functionality of the website it was installed on. It is
more interactive than the PDF format that was used before. 

How did Tidbit Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They did meet the budget and deadline, but there was some miscommunication. We
primarily communicated through WhatsApp, but we did have some Microsoft Teams
calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Tidbit Solutions is very flexible — they’re open to developing software for
companies of all sizes and even sole traders. They’re budget-friendly for small
companies. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Since we’re located in two different regions, there was some miscommunication,
but it wasn’t their fault.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Tidbit Solutions is a great company, but you must be clear about what you want
them to build. They won’t consult with you or provide advice on the project;
they come in to execute a project. It’s essential to be clear about your desired
functionalities.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tidbit Solutions LLP, and what
were your goals?

We use Tidbits for a variety of WordPress website support, development, web
design, custom plugin development, hack resolutions, hardening of WordPress
sites and management of some of the technical SEO items that come up during the
course of an SEO campaign.

SOLUTION

How did you select Tidbits Solutions LLP and what were the deciding factors?

Worked with many different companies and providers. Tidbits has the right blend
of quality, communication, value and collaboration. They work very well with our
team and are essentially a fully integrated unit of our business. The
collaboration is pretty seamless and works very well.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key
deliverables, and technologies used.

Numerous projects, too many to list. They have designed and developed multiple
sites for us, they manage the technical aspects of many of the websites that we
work with. They have made custom plugins for us. They are very responsive and
integrated with our team.

How many people from the Tidbits Solutions LLP team worked with you, and what
were their positions?

We have worked with about 5 or so people but really work with a core set of 3
people. The communication and personal relationships with the people there has
helped us work more efficiently together. I don't have to have the back and
forth of quoting and figuring out who can do what, because we know what to
expect and work well together.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about
the deliverables?

Many of the sites we have designed and worked on with SEO campaigns have seen a
significant rise in inquiries. Possibly the most impressive one was a new
website for a start up company in the health space (very competitive) and we get
requests for similar sites as well as generating 100s of local monthly inquiries
for the business.

Perhaps the more valuable less tangible result is just the seamless integration
of our businesses that lets us do what we do best - SEO.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and
timeliness.

There is project management, and a person handling it on both sides, as well as
admin contacts. This is rare for such set-ups, especially as it works so well.
We have instituted some quality checks and controls to make sure we are all on
the same page prior to starting a project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team's work ethic is fantastic, and they always deal with any requests we
have in a timely manner.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done
differently?

There are always areas for improvement and we work collaboratively together on
improving the process. The only thing I would like for them is a wider skill set
for other types of web platforms as we would have more work and integration with
the,. Any issues we have had have been dealt with swiftly and professionally.

I’m the co-founder of ParaDPO, a data protection consultancy.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tidbit Solutions LLP?

We needed frontend software development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed to develop the frontend of our software to be visually appealing and
high-functioning. We engaged Tidbit to help us do that. We would create a
specification and wireframe outlining exactly what we wanted, and the team
executed, creating various templates.

When we moved beyond the templates, the team went on to create several CSS
screen renditions of how the software would look. From there, we were able to
discuss changes before moving on to the final release.

What is the team composition?

I had a main contact, but there were various other people in-house who can work
interchangeably, depending on our needs.

How did you come to work with Tidbit Solutions LLP?

I was looking for vendors with CSS and HTML expertise on LinkedIn. Tidbit came
back as the most credible and best-priced out of the options. We started small
with them initially, then scaled up.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent between  $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since January 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The team is very quick and high-quality in terms of technical delivery. That
level of speed and quality were the main things we were looking for because, as
we scaled up, we needed to make sure they would be able to do so with us. So
far, not only have they done that, but they’ve also exceeded. 

How did Tidbit Solutions LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project very effectively. We were able to get the changes we
wanted made quite quickly and effectively. The team is well-resourced — when we
wanted to speed things up, they were able to do that for us. Whenever we set a
task, they meet it on time. 

As far as project management tools, we use Trello and Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Tidbit is a very flexible team. They also persevered well in terms of keeping
the work going even as the project became more difficult.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any criticism or areas for improvement at this stage. I’m happy
with how it’s going. They’ve done a good job and are collaborative.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Put time in upfront and make sure you’ve got a good specification laid out. It
will save both sides time and work at the beginning.

I needed someone to redesign my acting website for me and also create a 2nd
website for my voiceover.

What were your goals for this project?

I needed the company to redesign and update my acting website. It needed to be
simple, elegant, match my branding, easy to use on desktop and mobile and have
all the latest technology so clients can see my work easily. My 2nd website I
needed the company to understand my vision so that it was visually clear and
suited my branding.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Shanay at Tidbit Solutions is very experienced with Word Press and with
technology in general. He reassured me of his expertise and gave me a very fare
price for the work. Plus he is very nice to work with which is important for
communication.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Shanay was able to use his creative skills and redesign my acting website so
much better than my old website. It is 8 pages, simple, easy to navigate and
very user friendly. I have a lot of photos and videos so it was important to me
that they were highlighted in the best possible way. His suggestions and
experience reassured me that he is highly experienced. Customer satisfaction is
extremely important to Shanay and he delivered. My voiceover website was a
website designed from scratch. Shanay was able to work with my vision and create
a superb website!

What was the team composition?

Shanay works with a few other people who are all experienced. I am very happy
with the work received.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has
had on your business?

I have had many industry people who have been able to visually see my work in a
great light. Shanay was able to present it extremely well. I have had so may
compliments on the layout, presentation, accessibility and so many have said how
visually appealing both websites are.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The company is able to deliver you a wonderful website in a very good time
frame. Shanay was very upfront on the time it will take and he delivered
perfectly! We mostly communicated through Skype and occasionally email. It is
always easy to communicate with him.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'd say the most impressive thing would be, how outstandingly creative Shanay
is. He works extremely hard and is always wanting to make sure I am happy with
the work. If there is anything I need changing, he alters it so I am happy. His
team are really good at what they do and I will always recommend Shanay to my
friends and colleagues.

Nothing to improve. I am a happy customer.

I hired Tidbit to build me multiple Wordpress websites and also develop a
customer web portal for the use by a utilities company in the UK. I spoke to
many companies and Tidbit came across with the best solution.

What were your goals for this project?

To deliver the clients in the UK the best website / portal according to their
requirements. My clients required responsive websites which delivered on their
goals from generating leads, ecommerce websites and providing an intrusive CRM
system.

How did you select this vendor?

I searched on LinkedIn for a suitable supplier based on my requirements. It
started by looking for a Wordpress developer, ensuring they had built suitable
Wordpress sites previously which were high converting and also delivered on
previous client goals.

I selected Tidbit because of Shanays professionalism and his ability to both
understand and analyse the requirements i set out. He not only understood what i
required but he made recommendations and helped me understand how i could better
deliver what the client requires. i considered 4 different companies and Tidbit
came up head and shoulders above the others

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

I worked on multiple projects with Tidbit, including developing 4 wordpress
websites and developing a CRM portal. The Wordpres websites required to be
responsive and meeting the client needs. I worked with Shanay to put together
site maps, a comprehensive timeline and plan to develop these websites.

All the websites we developed on time and according to the brief provided. The
portal required was a comprehensive portal with many features including, 5
different users with multiple permissions. Ability to add new clients and for
them to access the system.

What was the team composition?

Tidbit had 4 people on the project i believe managed by the project manager
Shanay.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has
had on your business?

The clients we delivered for were very pleased with what was delivered. Their
business has improved and they now have what they want. They have continued to
use my services with other aspects of their business which is fantastic and its
credit to Tidbit

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Very well managed, i am very impressed as this is the first time i have used an
agency abroad who delivered exactly what was required and managed it and
delivered to UK standard. We used Slack and Trello to manage the project which
worked very well for what we required.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tidbit Solutions LLP?

We needed help with developing a website to our specs. That involved a lot of ad
hoc changes and bespoke requirements in order to maximize its potential. We
specifically looked for an organization with extensive experience in user flows.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a theme we wanted to use. We gave the theme and our wireframes to Tidbit
Solutions LLP; they then worked off of them and customized the theme. They built
the website in Magento and PHP, I think.

Tidbit Solutions LLP made a checkout and payment gateway integration for us. The
checkout was based on a plug-in that they customized. They also built other
functionalities from a CRM perspective.

What is the team composition?

We consistently worked with 10 people.

How did you come to work with Tidbit Solutions LLP?

We initially came across them through a freelancing platform for a previous
project. We went through a fairly rigorous interview process, and they seemed
able to get the job done in the timescale we wanted.

How much have you invested with them?

The initial development was around £15,000 (approximately $17,000 USD), not
including maintenance.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Tidbit Solutions LLP around two years ago and continue
to use them for website work. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website went live around a year ago. We use Hotjar to look at how users are
interacting with our website, and we also ask for feedback directly. These tools
make up our internal barometer to assess how well they’re doing from a
development perspective. The feedback has been quite positive, aside from a few
teething issues here and there.

How did Tidbit Solutions LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a weekly call with the team and a monthly call with one of Tidbit
Solutions LLP’s directors to see how things are going. We also have a project
manager assigned to us, who’s quite good at staying on top of any work we need
to do.

Tidbit Solutions LLP has gone above and beyond in a lot of aspects. When things
go wrong and we contact them at the eleventh hour, they are always on hand to
help. They were very diligent, especially when addressing cultural differences
between how we work in the UK and how they work in India.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They can reach out quickly when there’s an issue or problem. There were times
when they came up with suggestions on what we should be doing to make things
better. They’ve given us sound advice, based on their own experience, on what
practices to use to maximize our results. They also made sure they were
responding accordingly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any strong criticism. They’ve been good in terms of reacting to any
problems we had with the website. There have been changes in their personnel,
but they managed that well. There’s nothing under their control that I’d be
critical of.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

For clients outside of Tidbit Solutions LLP’s time zone, it’s essential to be as
detailed as possible in your proposal and fully understand what the working
parameters are. That allows Tidbit Solutions LLP to make the best out of the
website build for you.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tidbit Solutions LLP?

We were seeking full-stack design and development services to create our
platform. We wanted to create a web-based application that would enable users to
manage their own clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since we were unfamiliar with the development process, they walked us through
every step. We went over the project brief together, where they patiently
explained all of our different options. This allowed us to make an informed
decision on the technologies behind our platform. Then, they created wireframes
and rigorously translated our ideas into a tangible structure.

Tidbit Solutions implemented everything from the application’s UI/UX design to
backend development. The team developed a base system that incorporates company
profiles. The user’s clients are able to utilize our platform to navigate the
services of that particular company. In the end, there were three different
levels of engagement and involvement within the mobile-friendly system.

What is the team composition?

We were in direct contact with a team comprised of eight people. A project
manager oversaw all progress.

How did you come to work with Tidbit Solutions LLP?

We encountered several different companies through a google search. After
receiving many proposals, we narrowed the list by looking through them as well
as the companies’ portfolios. This process resulted in a final shortlist, and
Tidbit Solutions proved to be the best match after meeting with them.  

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent approximately $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April of 2018, and the work is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

While development is yet to be completed, we’ve conducted QA testing. The
results from that have been extremely promising.

How did Tidbit Solutions LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

They maintained great communication with us throughout the process. Everyone on
the team has been enthusiastic and involved in our frequent meetings.

We appreciate that we don’t have to chase them for anything—they’re always on
the ball about things, and very responsive. If we needed to discuss something,
they’re always keen to participate in that conversation.  

We utilize Trello to track all project progress, as well as bug fixes. Apart
from that, we use Skype as our primary means of communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was blown away by their technical expertise. They have the ability to
translate a rough mental image into a real, functional product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so. When we started, we had a bit of a language barrier, but they
helped us through that. Otherwise, our communication with the team has been
fantastic.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be able to clearly describe your goals and ideas. Since we were new to the
development process, we found this aspect to be particularly challenging. I’d
approach them after solidifying your idea and its scope.

They have a developer assigned to me full time, building websites etc. This
allows me much flexibility as I am trying to move quickly.

Because of Tidbit, I have a sold website and chatbot business. They back me up,
and make me look good.
