 * LOVELY INTIMATE LODGE WITH EXCELLENT GAME VIEWING
   
   Stayed at Shimungwe for 3 nights in August 2023. Lovely room overlooking a
   (then) dry river bed that's a game highway. Great food from a family kitchen,
   chef easily met dietary requirements for me. Beautiful firepit and pool area.
   Fenced property so you are able to walk to you room at dusk and dawn. Game
   drives were great, with knowledgeable tracker and super guide. Best lion

   An incredible place, loved everything about it, a truly magical experience.
   The game drives were fantastic, we saw more than I had imagined (including
   the ‘big 5’) every drive. The food was exceptional and the service exemplary!
   A lovely intimate lodge with serene views over the riverbed and a water
   hole.The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed. Highly highly recommended for
   first time visitors as well as seasoned travelers.

   Just returned from a fantastic trip to Shimungwe. The intimate lodge is the
   perfect place to relax between game drives. Accomodation is perfect. All the
   staff are very friendly and will look after you well. Food delicious. A
   lovely pool to relax and cool off in. A very special place.
