now the trackpad too is starting to not work reliably when it wants to work,
it’s a perfectly fine laptop that does its job Otherwise try to go with a laptop
with at least a 12th gen, Vene better: wait a little bit longer if possible
until the AMD 7000series and Intel 13th gen arrive on laptops, and you will set
with performance and much better Battery life. So in conclusion: perhaps you can
consider a current M1 (if you want to save some money) or M2 MacBook, but for
that I don’t know how well they perform with CAD workloads. Your iPad will beat

SLS daily as an engineer, and I absolutely love it. Same here, it was my biggest
fear before I got my SP5 a few years ago. Weight is the primary issue when
holding it.įor just notes I might prefer the Surface Pro, but I also want a
laptop and while I was kind of surprised how well the kickstand + keyboard folio
works, when I tried one for a week last year

The thickness isn't really an issue as long as your hand rests entirely on the
screen or besides it on the table laptops considered: xps13/15, flow z13,
spectre 14 x360 already have an ipad (though i really hate it) already have a
powerful desktop at home battery life is pretty good for this type of laptop
although I already own an ipad, I find myself wanting to write some notes on my
laptop as well. My hobby is photography and so sometimes I do use photoshop and
a pen would be great. While a dGPU isn’t really a must in undergraduate level,
it will definitely be helpful. I am majoring in Aerospace engineering and would
be doing some CAD, CFD and Solidwork stuffs. I have considered multiple options
but kept coming back into considering the SLS. My macbook is showing quite a lot
of problems and I am currently looking for a replacement.
