I recently had the opportunity to ride in a car made by the British company
Wayve, which has a fairly novel approach to self-driving vehicles. While a lot
of AVs can only navigate on streets that have been loaded into their system, the
Wayve vehicle operates more like a person.

Why I’m optimistic about the future of Alzheimer’s research
If we want to stop Alzheimer’s disease, one of the biggest things we need to
develop is a reliable, affordable, and accessible diagnostic. New breakthroughs
in testing may someday soon let us substantially alter the course of the
disease.
