We would like to introduce voices received from Hitachi Group employees who
donated towards the current campaign "Support the COVID-19 Crisis in India"
through Benevity.
Also, this India Support campaign will be held until September 30th. Let's
contribute to society together through Benevity!

Q. What was your motivation that led you to donate and what made you feel that
Benevity is a good initiative for Hitachi?
I am proud to be part of company group that work to identify locations that need
special attention where our colleagues also could have relatives in need and
promote actions. By using a global platform like Benevity is a great idea that
bring the possibility to create visibility of the initiative and
broad chances to other locations that already partially recovered still
supporting.
Q. Could you give us your message/thoughts that you would like to express to
Hitachi Group employees regarding this initiative?
I personally would like to engage you all my Hitachi Group colleagues to take
the time to see and understand the initiative and realize how proud we can be
being part of a company that are taking real actions to support our global
social demands.

Q. Why did you want to use Benevity? And what are your thoughts about Benevity?
In addition to India being one of the regions in need of support globally,
Hitachi has business offices with employees and family members working there.
Having these two factors come together has driven me to donate.
Q. Message/thoughts that you would like to express to Hitachi Group employees
regarding this initiative.
In Japan, as a culture I feel that many people are not used to donating. I hope
this initiative in which Hitachi accompanies the same amount of donation will
become a spark and lead to more people donating.
