OUR VISION.

Our aim is in our name. To Break Chains. Chains that have bound generations and
communities to cycles of Domestic Abuse, Poverty, Financial Hardship, Poor
Quality of Life and Access to Further Education.

Improving these spaces will always be at the core of what we do with Sports,
Schools and Community Events as the vessels to connect us to our cause.

HEAR FROM OUR DIRECTOR.

The Education Space is one that is dear to our hearts. We are currently working
within Busby Primary School providing our tailored program ‘Iron Sharpens Iron’
and a Breakfast Club.

Hear from our Director, Danny Nicholson about why it is important to us.

AMBASSADORS

ATASI LAFAI

WALLAROOS RUGBY

Breaking Chains would like to introduce our foundation Ambassador and Wallaroo
161, Atasi Lafai. Atasi, affectionately known as Tasi or Darc, is a proud Minto
local with a rich playing resume behind her. A product of Sarah Redfern High,
the humble lock started playing for the Campbelltown Harlequins before quickly
progressing through the ranks to make her Debut for Australia in 2018.

Off the field, Atasi has a heart for the people! Regardless of how far she goes,
she remains grounded and we are so excited to work with Atasi and give her the
space and platform to pass on her knowledge to the next generation of Female
Athletes and give back to her Local Community. There is so much to be done and
we’re pumped to have Atasi on board to do the job.

PAULINE PILIAE

RASABALE

Breaking Chains would like to introduce our second Ambassador, Wallaroo 181 and
NRLW West Tiger 6, Pauline Piliae-Rasabale. A dual code, ball playing, kicking
Queen, from Western Sydney, Pauline has an impressive and long list of sporting
achievements, from a Netballer to a Wallaroo and now a current West Tiger in the
inaugural NRLW West Tigers team.

When not in the boots, P is Mum to two active boys and works in Schools to
promote Youth Development through sports. Pauline is passionate about seeing
young people win and because of this (and much more) we’re so keen to see
Pauline jump into a Mentoring role alongside Atasi to pass on her knowledge and
skills to the next Gen of Female Athletes.
