Is it possible to have a column scenario A 2024, a column scenario B 2025 and a third column with the variance between both ? When I try to do it, I have 2 columns per scenario and per year and it’s hard to read. How can this be fixed? 0 375 35 minutes ago D Dastan S.Newly Minted Pigmenteer asked in Questions & Conversations Using lagged month in Iterative calculations I was working on Headcount planning and in order to be able to calculate attrition, I used iterative calculation functionality. With that I was able to calculate Attrition by multiplying attrition rate to ending (beginning) headcount, which is, in its turn, calculated as Beginning Headcount plus new hires minus attrition. Now I want to add Backfills to the calculation, so Ending Headcount will be Beginning Headcount plus new hires minus attrition plus backfills. I am calculating backfills as % of Attrition, and Backfills is also a part of Iterative Calculations. The thing I want to do, but cannot, is being able to instead of current period’s attrition get 2 months’ prior attrition and multiply it by backfill rate. So, if for instance Jan 25 attrition is 100 FTEs, my Mar 25 backfills should be 100 * 90% (Backfill rate) = 90 FTEs. So, instead of having 90 FTEs backfills in Jan 25, I would like to have it in Mar 25. I tried to put [SELECT: Month - 2] in the formula for Backfills metric: ( 0 562 5 days ago B Ben KingNewly Minted Pigmenteer asked in Questions & Conversations SUM Previous Year to apply Growth Rate I am trying to get the prior year total to then multiply it by a growth rate. GrowthRate? is a Boolean that has TRUE starting in January 2026 and all periods forward OriginalValue is a Number metric that has values monthly from January 2024 and all periods forward What I’m trying to get is something like this: IF(GrowthRate?, (Prior Year * (1 + Growth Rate), OriginalValue). I also can’t calculate off the OriginalValue metric because the Growth Rates will compound. Neo 0 361 11 days ago T TELIT002Newly Minted Pigmenteer asked in Questions & Conversations How to set up level-based hierarchies (e.g. cost center, profit center, products) Hi there, I haven’t really found something related to this topic, hence this new one. I am fairly new to Pigment and have been working heavily with other planning solutions so far. What I see in every project is the need to easily set up parent-child hierarchies for cost centers, profit centers or products. Those can have many levels (e.g. a 10 level deep cost center hierarchy). In other solutions I would get all node and leaf items from a source system and add the respective parent in a separate hierarchy column (so I need to keep two columns maintained to have a full multi-level hierarchy). What is the equivalent of this in Pigment? Thanks everyone! *Update: my apologies, I was actually referring to parent child hierarchies. Would that change the approach? 0 653 12 days ago P pigment_enthusiastSeasoned Pigmenteer asked in Questions & Conversations Partner Solution Consultant Certified Badge Which learning path/certification is to be completed in order to get this badge: Partner Solution Consultant Certified ? 0 411 J 12 days ago V VicoNewly Minted Pigmenteer asked in Questions & Conversations Import SFTP - Most recent file is not working Hi! The problem is just that the url only includes a GUID. Is there any way to find these guids in Pigment? For example when filtering on a specific employee in my employee dimension I can see that []=df7ce50d-304b-472e-a8e0-f448d960e8de is added to the url, and I would expect that each employee is related to a unique guid, so question is just how to get from dimension value to a guid. My use case is that I am having a grid view with a list of employees. For each employee I would like to link to another board with details about each employee and I would like this board to automatically be prefiltered based on which row I clicked on the first board. 1 783 14 days ago Show more activity EXPLORE THE COMMUNITY Connect with other users, discuss how you're using Pigment, and get inspired COMMUNITY WELCOME GUIDE * 5 topics * 8 Replies QUESTIONS & CONVERSATIONS * 650 topics * 1765 Replies JOB BOARD * 82 topics * 1 Reply ANNOUNCEMENTS * 34 topics * 35 Replies Welcome to the Pigment Community! 🎉 1 year ago CUSTOMER LEADERBOARD * Week * All time 1 A a2pham 10 points 10 points 2 A ayethipathi 10 points 10 points 3 CamilleMomo 10 points 10 points 4 B Brian B 10 points 10 points 5 W Weining Ben 10 points 10 points 6 T Tomer.A 5 points 5 points 7 O Olga Vovk 5 points 5 points 8 A Alina 1 point 1 point Show full leaderboard 1 CamilleMomo 5649 points 5649 points 2 abhilashsawla 3943 points 3943 points 3 CDALMAY 3102 points 3102 points 4 Sofia Costa 2460 points 2460 points 5 A Alexandre 2413 points 2413 points 6 R rschimm 2263 points 2263 points 7 MKohli 1883 points 1883 points 8 Sam Gale 1532 points 1532 points Show full leaderboard BADGE WINNERS * Ali Wrobleskihas earned the badge Read and Interpret Formulas Certified * Nahhas earned the badge Read and Interpret Formulas Certified * Sharon Conroyhas earned the badge Read and Interpret Formulas Certified * angeliqueparavaloshas earned the badge Pigment Modeling Fundamentals Certified * srxhas earned the badge Read and Interpret Formulas Certified Show all badges EMPLOYEE LEADERBOARD * Week * All time 1 Sharon Conroy 20 points 20 points 2 Amal B 2 points 2 points 3 KarlW 1 point 1 point Show full leaderboard 1 Benoit 6510 points 6510 points 2 Pierre 3253 points 3253 points 3 Ben 2486 points 2486 points 4 KarlW 2399 points 2399 points 5 Keiran 2016 points 2016 points Show full leaderboard NEED MORE HELP?
