3000k is the perfect light spectrum for general purpose outdoor lighting. Not
too high energy blue (5000k) that makes you squint or too yellow like HPS

Very good, but transformer barely powers 16' (Buy extra connectors)
5 stars with an asterisk: Comes with only a 30watt transformer. this is barely
enough to run the 16" strand.... I had to add two ~30" extensions to my strand
(Used 18ga wire); but with the small voltage drop I guess, it would not drive
