IN FOCUS

BOOKS

We publish thought-provoking books exploring health and human experiences. Our
latest titles include ‘Nine Minds, Inner Lives on the Spectrum’, an
illuminating, life-affirming book by Daniel Tammet that celebrates the power and
beauty of the neurodivergent mind.

FINDING AUDREY AMISS

Archivist Elena Carter writes about finding the artist Audrey Amiss through
caring for her collection, and how we understand a life in the material that is
left behind. Because of its fragile nature, Audrey's archive is held in our
library stores. To view items from the collection, you'll need to join the
library and request the item you'd like to see.

VIDEO TOUR OF ‘JASON AND THE ADVENTURE OF 254’

Artist Jason Wilsher-Mills takes us on a short tour of ‘Jason and the Adventure
of 254’, his largest and most personal commission to date. Jason talks about his
influences and shares the story behind some of his key works, including ‘Figure
in a Bed’ and ‘Calliper Boots’.
