This chart shows the number of light- as well as medium/heavy-duty AFV acquisitions these fleets made. The economic downturn of 2008 led to fewer overall vehicle acquisitions, which in turn reduced AFV acquisition requirements. However, overall AFV acquisitions have since rebounded to pre-recession levels. To view more details, notes, and acronyms, please download the Excel spreadsheet.
