the office of the CTO with Symantec. An internationally recognized public
speaker and has been awarded ‘Best Speaker’ in the four continents. He is also a

RTFR (READ THE BLEEPING RFC)

If a hacker cannot exploit a vulnerability in a product, they might find one in
the foundation! We’ve built the internet upon standards established decades ago,
resulting in some considerable security consequences today. In this talk, Inti
is revealing his RFC research playbook and will discuss some of his recent
finds. As an ethical hacker, Inti hunts down security vulnerabilities in
companies like Facebook, Google, Dropbox and the US Department of Defense. In
2018, Inti was awarded the ‘Most Valuable Hacker’ award, one of the most
prestigious titles an ethical hacker can receive.

APPLIED OBSERVABILITY AND THE ANALYTICS CONTINUUM

Detecting and responding to security threats within an organization requires
leveraging logs, metrics and traces for analyses and insights, with the standard
goals of continually improving mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to
resolve (MTTR) in efficient cost-effective ways. This includes leveraging big
data and machine learning to automate IT operations including event correlation,
anomaly detection and causality determination. But how do we achieve that
without drowning in data, and how do we prioritize what’s important? Can the
tech behind ChatGPT change the world? This session explores the concept of
applied observability, the challenges and benefits of integrating signal with
AIMLops.

IT SECURITY IS ‘KIDSPLAY’, OT SECURITY IS FOR GROWN-UPS!

Our digital society depends on our digital critical infrastructures, like
datacenters. Without datacenters, our digital society will end. Streefland will
show the audience the attack surface and the cybersecurity insights of these
datacenters, who mostly depend on Operational Technology (OT). A cyberattack on
IT systems can be very annoying , especially when it involves ransomware, but a
cyberattack on OT systems can result into significant damage to our digital
society, with a loss of lives as a worst case scenario. The goal of this keynote
is not to ‘scare’, but to make people aware of this critical infrastructure
issue.
