CMS published an FAQ on the implementation of the Consolidated Appropriations
Act, 2021 regarding the good faith estimate (GFE) for uninsured or self-pay
individuals.  This FAQ represents Part 3 of this FAQ series.  The FAQ clarifies
that HHS is extending enforcement discretion, pending future rulemaking, for
situations where GFEs for uninsured (or self-pay) individuals do not include
expected charges from co-providers or co-facilities.  Find more information
here.
