SECURE YOUR EMPLOYER’S APPROVAL

Discuss your relocation plans with your employer. They'll need to initiate the
process with our team before we can start your application.

WE’LL ONBOARD YOU

To facilitate your work visa application, BorderlessHR will officially hire you
as an employee of our Canadian entity (on paper only). This step ensures a
smooth transition and compliance with Canadian regulations.

VISA & WORK PERMIT SUPPORT

Our team will handle your entire work visa application, a process that typically
takes around three months. Upon approval, you will receive a two-year work
permit for Canada.

SEAMLESS WORK TRANSITION

You continue your current job with your existing employer, but now you're based
in Canada. Your work responsibilities and relationship with your employer remain
unchanged.

EMPLOYER OF RECORD (EOR) SERVICES

BorderlessHR acts as your legal employer in Canada, handling payroll, taxes, and
compliance on behalf of your company.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

Our program lets you relocate while keeping your current job. We hire you under
our Canadian entity, so you're officially a BorderlessHR employee while in
Canada, but you continue working with your existing employer.


WILL I KEEP WORKING FOR MY CURRENT COMPANY?

Yes you will. Nothing changes in your responsibilities.


DO I NEED TO GET MY CURRENT EMPLOYER INVOLVED?

Yes you do. Your current employer must be onboard before we can start processing
your application. You will receive your salary and benefits as usual but paid
through BorderlessHR instead.


IS THIS PROGRAM VALID FOR FREELANCERS, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND SELF-EMPLOYED
INDIVIDUALS?

Yes it is valid if you earn a minimum of $60,000 per year from a single employer
- not multiple employers.


CAN I LIVE ANYWHERE IN CANADA AFTER I GET MY VISA?

No. You can only live in the province of Ontario.


WHAT KIND OF CANADIAN VISA WOULD I HAVE?

You shall have a closed work permit that will allow you to work freely in
Canada. This is standard for foreign workers through this program.


HOW LONG WOULD I HAVE THE VISA FOR?

This Visa is valid for 2 years but you will be eligible to apply for Canada’s
Permanent Residency (PR) after 1 year in Canada.


CAN I BRING MY FAMILY WITH ME ON THIS VISA?

Yes you can.


CAN MY SPOUSE AND I TRAVEL OUTSIDE CANADA WHILE ON A 2-YEAR WORK PERMIT? IF SO,
FOR HOW LONG?

Yes, you and your spouse are free to travel outside of Canada during your 2-year
work permit. Your vacation time will be the same as in your existing contract,
and your salary and benefits will continue while you're away.


WHEN CAN I APPLY FOR MY PERMANENT RESIDENCY (PR)?

You can apply anytime via Canada’s express entry route after 1 year of residency
in Canada.


HOW LONG DOES THE WORK VISA PROCESS TAKE?

It takes a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 5 months to complete the work
visa process.


WHAT TYPE OF VISA WOULD MY SPOUSE AND KIDS HAVE?

Your spouse will be given an open work permit and your kids will have student
visas.


WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR MY CANADIAN WORK PERMIT?

The documents you need depend on certain individual status. Please fill out the
form so that we can discuss your current situation and what best applies to you.


HOW WOULD I RECEIVE MY SALARY?

Your employer pays us directly, and we pay you the equal value in Canadian
dollars. Your current pay will remain the same.


WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED IN THE PROGRAM APPLICATION?

Company Covers:
 * One-Time Fee: CAD $1,000 for relocation and visa processing.
 * Monthly Fee: 1.8% of your salary for health insurance and government fees.

Your Responsibility:
 * Visa Application: Approximately CAD $300 per person. Family applications may
   cost more.
 * Relocation Expenses: Housing, flights, and other moving costs.


CAN I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FEES INSTEAD OF THE COMPANY?

No. Your company must pay the company fees.


WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET STARTED?

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET FIRED FOR SOME REASON? HOW MANY MONTHS DO I HAVE TO FIND
ANOTHER JOB?

Your work visa is valid for 2 years even if you get fired. This means you will
not be asked to leave Canada until after 2 years if you cannot find a new job.


WILL BORDERLESSHR GET ME ANOTHER JOB OPPORTUNITY IF I GET LAID OFF?

We can connect you to companies in our network but we cannot guarantee you an
offer.


WILL I GET ANY INSURANCE IF I GET LAID OFF?

After working 700 hours in Canada, you qualify for government unemployment
insurance. Coverage typically lasts 14 weeks, but can vary by location. Your
