You're invited!

Join us for our Tech Talk on lean software development at the Kiln co-working
space. 



Together, we’ll explore the different facets of lean. We’ll discuss the roles of
flow and iteration on creating effective systems. We’ll also examine different
agile implementations involving methodologies like scrum and kanban and discuss
ways to incrementally iterate on existing processes to create better outcomes.
By exploring the whys behind lean principles, we can uncover opportunities to
simplify our work and build better products.


As a major part of Pluralsight’s mission to democratize technology skills, we’re
looking for software developers, machine learning engineers and data scientists
to help make our vision possible.




Yes we are hiring, but come for the content! Whether you are interested in
applying or not, this will be a great educational experience for all.

About our speaker


Maureen Botoman is a developer turned engineering leader with a passion for
fostering autonomy in individuals and teams. Maureen values continuous learning,
and recognizing that learning can happen in all forms. She strives to get a
variety of information to try to find the best strategies to move forward. In
her quest for knowledge, she has gotten her MBA from the University of Utah, is
an avid reader, and an obsessive podcast listener.

Maureen is a champion for inclusivity at all levels, from serving as an
accessibility advocate at work to launching a chapter of Women Who Code in Utah.
Currently Maureen is working as the Director of Engineering for the learner
engagement group at Pluralsight.
