IMAGINE

A six year-old boy lays starving. He is dying, in the last phases of his life.

Perhaps you’ve seen the picture of this child.
His final words are captured on camera. And those words will shake the heart of
any human, let alone a believer:

“I will tell Allah about everything I’ve seen and witnessed.”

When Allah tests our brothers and sisters in the Ummah with severe trials, he
also tests *us*.
As a believer, what are WE going to do? Will we put our hands in our pockets and
carry on?

THE CAUSE

There are currently over 6 million people in the middle east who are displaced,
with nowhere to go.
Many families are currently living in makeshift homes and tents.
Many of the families can’t afford hot and nutritious meals.

Brothers and sisters,
If you feed a person, you will be rewarded as if you fed Allah.

The Prophet [SalAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam] is reported to have said:
"On the day of resurrection God most high will say “.. Son of Adam, I asked you
for food but you gave me none.” He will reply, “My Lord, how could I feed Thee
when Thou art the Lord of the universe?” He will say, “Did you not know that my
servant so and so asked you for food and yet you gave him none? Did you not know
that if you had fed him you would have found that with me? Muslim” - [2569]

We at Spotlight Humanity are setting up hot meals kitchens throughout the
refugee camps.

Alhumdulillah, Spotlight Humanity is here, with YOUR donations, on the ground
serving these camps with their food trucks, serving them warm meals daily and
supporting them with the struggles they face everyday.

Our kitchen runs throughout the year. But our brothers and sisters in these
refugee camps need YOU. MORE than ever.

Through your contribution, you can ensure that an orphaned child, a widow or
needy family will have something to eat.

There are many avenues to aid our brothers and sisters in this blessed month!

We are currently on the ground in the Middle East helping refugees from all over
the Middle East. Almost all have been displaced by war and are currently living
in dire conditions. With your help we plan to deliver vital life saving aid such
as, food, clean water, widow and orphan sponsorships, schooling and more.

We can't do this without your support.

costs for supporting our brothers and sisters for this month and beyond:

60 hot meals = $100

Dear brothers and sisters, even if you have a few spare pounds, Allah will
reward you for the role you played in alleviating the situation of even ONE
brother or sister in these camps.

Given the crisis, Spotlight Humanity makes an URGENT appeal to donate to the
best of your ability and to donate generously.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘(O people!) Save yourselves from the [Hell]
Fire even if it is with half a date [given in charity], and if you cannot find
that, then [save yourselves by saying] a good word’. [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

May Allah ACCEPT your donations, save us from being held to account for the
severe trials of our brothers and sisters in the Ummah, and help alleviate this
crisis from them.

ABOUT US

Spotlight Humanity is a 100% donation policy charity, working hard to relieve
poverty and suffering both locally and globally. We provide food aid, water aid,
shelter, orphan sponsorships and more in destitute countries .

We have been distributing relief and food, water and other essential packages -
aiming to help as many people as we can. And we are prepared to continue to help
these people through COVID-19, but we need your support to do this.
