HI EVERYONE, HOPE YOU ARE ALL SAFE AND WELL OUT THERE.

Last night here in Amsterdam I had the opportunity to record a 20 minute segment
in the storied Concertgebouw, without audience, as part of a wonderful video
series they are doing.. Being in that beautiful hall, entirely empty of an
audience was both sad and mysterious. I felt like I was walking around a museum
secretly after hours. I played here the first 5 pieces from my suite April 2020,
followed by “Here’s That Rainy Day” and “Satellite.” All best and wishing
everyone peace and happiness.

BEST JAZZ INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM

The members of the original Joshua Redman Quartet—Redman (saxophone), Brad
Mehldau (piano), Christian McBride (bass), and Brian Blade (drums)—reunite with
RoundAgain, the group’s first recording since 1994’s MoodSwing. The album
features seven newly composed songs: three from Redman, two from Mehldau, and
one each from McBride and Blade. Pre-order to download the track "Right Back
