ABOUT TREY MALICOAT, M.S.



I'm thrilled to share my journey in mental health, personal growth, and
transformative healing with you. With over 26 years of experience, I've been
deeply immersed in the aftermath of significant events like 9/11, the Columbine
and Springfield High School Shootings, and the Pulse nightclub massacre,
witnessing firsthand the profound effects of trauma on mental health. I've
walked alongside many individuals who initially felt hopeless and lacked the
drive to find peace.



As an educator, I've had the privilege of teaching mental health courses at
esteemed institutions such as the University of Denver, Western Oregon, Oregon
State, and the University of Oregon. Covering topics ranging from violence,
grief, and trauma to human sexuality and human development, I've been committed
to equipping others with knowledge and tools for navigating life's challenges.



However, my true passion lies in empowering individuals to discover joy and
peace amidst adversity. This mission is deeply personal to me, as I've grappled
with the impact of trauma both personally and professionally. That's why I
founded the Restoration Academy and developed the NeuroNarrative Method,
offering practical tools for personal growth and radical healing beyond
traditional therapy.



Whether you're seeking guidance, inspiration, or simply a listening ear, I'm
