Summary

Electric vehicles are at the center of the solution for decarbonizing the
transport sector. However, a robust, accessible and user-friendly public
charging infrastructure is a pre-requisite forboosting the adoption of EVs.

Midwestern states have ambitious EV-related plans and are collaborating to
accelerate vehicle electrification in the region. Five states – Illinois,
Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin – recently formed the Regional
Electric Vehicle Midwest (REV Midwest) coalition with the aim to develop a
coordinated approach to advance electrification and collectively foster
investment in EVs and EVcharging infrastructure.

After several successful conferences on EV Charging Infrastructure and Fleet
Electrification, Global Transmission Report is organizing its EV Charging
Infrastructure Midwest edition on May 24-25, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. This
conference is dedicated to showcasing the opportunities, plans, policies and
solutions to build a smart and efficient public charging infrastructure in the
Midwest.

The event will present plans and programs for strengthening the EV charging
infrastructure in key Midwestern states. It will highlight the initiatives of
leading utilities in advancing the build-out of this infrastructure. It will
showcase the next-gen technologies, platforms and solutions for charging,
managing interoperability issues, and improving customer experience. It will
feature the views and experience of leading charging network operators. The
event will also discuss optimal strategy to address fleet electrification
challenges.

The conference will bring together policymakers, regulators, utilities, charging
network operators, OEMs and technology providers to discuss the challenges and
propose solutions for building a user-friendly public charging network in the
Midwest.
