Acrobat online services are available in English, Japanese, French, German,
Dutch, Italian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese
(Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese Simplified, and Chinese
Traditional.
CAN I USE ACROBAT READER DESKTOP OR THE ACROBAT READER MOBILE APP TO TRY THE
ONLINE TOOLS?
No, you can only try the tools from the Acrobat online services page or if you
sign in with an Adobe account.
USING THE TOOLS
HOW CAN I USE ACROBAT ONLINE SERVICES, AND HOW DOES ADOBE HANDLE MY DATA?
From the Adobe Acrobat online services page, select the tool you want to use and
follow the how-to steps. Note that Acrobat online services upload your files to
Adobe Document Cloud. If you sign in to use a tool or to save or share a file,
Acrobat will save your file to your Adobe Document Cloud account. If you don't
sign in, even if you download the modified file, Adobe will delete the file from
its servers within a short period of time to respect your privacy.
DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ADOBE ID OR SIGN IN TO TRY THE ACROBAT ONLINE TOOLS?
Without signing in with an Adobe ID, most tools let you complete one free
transaction and download the resulting file one time.
If you sign in with an Adobe ID, you can share, fill, sign, and comment on PDFs
for free. When you sign in, you can also try additional premium tools. See below
for free limits.

ARE THERE FILE SIZE OR PAGE LIMITATIONS?
Acrobat online tools have the following limits:
* Acrobat online tools support PDF files of 100MB or less, except for the PDF
to Word and PDF to PPT tools that support files up to 200MB and the Compress
PDF tool that lets you compress a PDF that is 2GB or smaller.
* A maximum of 500 PDF pages are supported by these tools: Delete PDF Pages,
Rotate PDF Pages, Reorder PDF Pages, and Extract PDF Pages.
* The Split PDF tool lets you split a PDF of up to 1GB with a maximum of 1,500
pages into as many as 19 files.
* With the Merge PDFs tool, you can create a merged PDF of up to 1,500 pages;
you can combine up to 100 files, with each file having up to 500 pages.
* Similarly, the Insert PDF Pages tool has a maximum limit of 1,500 pages for
the final file, with each inserted file limited to up to 500 pages.
* When you add a password to a PDF using the free version of the Protect PDF
tool, you won’t be able to remove the password. To remove it, you'll need
to purchase an Adobe Acrobat subscription or sign up for a seven-day free
trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro.
HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE THE FREE TOOLS?
If you don't sign in with an Adobe ID, you can only complete one free
transaction and download the resulting file one time. However, there are a few
tools that you cannot try without signing in.
If you sign in with an Adobe ID, you can fill, sign, share, and add comments to
files for free. To try other premium tools when signed in, free users are
subject to the following limits:
* You can make two free transactions every 30 days on a rolling basis when
trying premium tools. For example, if you sign in for the first time on any
given day and use the Convert PDF to Word tool, you have used one of your
two free transactions for the current 30-day period. If you then, for
example, use the Compress PDF tool 15 days later, you have used
your second free transaction for the current 30-day period. To use a premium
tool for free again, you will have to wait until the end of the 30-day
period.
* Request e-signature transactions may be subject to additional limitations.
When you reach free limits, you'll be notified online.

ARE ADOBE ACROBAT ONLINE SERVICES SECURE?

security practices to protect your documents, data, and personal information.

ARE MY FILES SECURE WITH ACROBAT ONLINE SERVICES?
Yes. To ensure your files are safe, Adobe uses the AES-256 encryption standard
and Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 for Acrobat online services. TLS is a
security protocol that provides privacy and data integrity for Internet
communications. It keeps data secure when being transferred over a network.
WHO CAN VIEW MY FILES?
All uploaded files stored in Document Cloud are automatically labeled Private,
which means the files are only visible to you. You must take explicit action to
share a file, or it will remain private.
WHEN WILL THE UPLOADED FILE BE REMOVED IF I DON’T SIGN IN AFTER USING A TOOL?
After using a tool, if you don’t sign in to save or share your file, Adobe will
delete the file from our servers within a short period of time.
