MATTHEW BRODERICK IS TOTALLY FINE BEING UNLIKABLE

NEW YORK — Matthew Broderick has never written a memoir. But should the
62-year-old actor give it a whirl, he’s already identified tongue-in-cheek
titles for a three-volume tell-all tome.

The first, “They Called Me Pal,” would focus on the A-listers with whom he’s
shared the screen: Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington in “Glory,” Sean Connery
and Dustin Hoffman in “Family Business,” Marlon Brando in “The Freshman,” and so
on. The second, “Preserving the Island,” would fixate on his ongoing effort to
keep his graying hairline intact. And the third? A helping of self-reflection
called “Maybe I’m the Monster.”
