Capt. Jagdeep Singh Sodhi is a well-known face in the major oil and gas
petroleum industry globally, having spent over 10 years in ship-to-ship
operations management and as POAC he has carried numerous STS operations. He has
an extensive experience in ship and port operations, marine advice, marine
assurance, HSE, commercial operations and business development globally.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

After obtaining a Masters Class 1 Certificate of Competency, Capt. George has
had 30 years of expatriate experience in upstream, downstream, shipping and
trading activities in Shell, incl. pilotage, rig moving, support craft
management, new field developments in hostile areas, project work (Offshore
facility installations), terminal management, SBM design and installation, HSSE
and Risk Management. In the latter stages of his career, Capt. George was based
in London where, amongst other responsibilities, he chaired the OGP Industry
Work Group (GIRG) and also chaired the OCIMF working group tasked with
re-writing and updating the OCIMF publications on the operation, maintenance and
sparing policy regarding SPMs (published December 2014). After retiring from
Shell in 2013, Capt. George has been working with a company called Offshore Ops
Limited on completing the development and rollout of an SBM Telemetry Data
Management System.

Lara has over 25 years of marine and offshore commercial experience, throughout
her career, she has been bridging the gap between the world's premium brand
manufacturers of marine and offshore equipment and a blue-chip client base
comprising of many of the world's leading ports, marine contractors, navies and
offshore companies. She is passionate about understanding clients' marine
equipment challenges then developing and delivering innovative solutions for
them. It’s an industry that she loves and has made very many friendships, as
well as developing profitable long-term business relationships on every
continent, bar Antarctica! Lara is the head of SafeSTS Transfer Technology.

YVONNE MASON OBE


CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Yvonne Mason OBE is the Chief Executive Officer of both Future Marine Services
and SafeSTS Limited. Whether related to equipment, operational procedures,
personnel training and management or standards, she is passionate about HSE
initiatives that are of long term benefit to the industry. Throughout her
business career, she has been nominated for and won numerous regional and
national business awards.
1988 - Founded her first STS company and worked first as a contractor and then
as an Asset Manager to Shell.
1995 - Took over Shell’s operational STS transfer division. Over the next 10
years, Yvonne led the team to grow the operational STS bases from 7 to over 30.
With this came an increase from 50 STS operations per year to over 1,500 STS
operations per year. She sold the company in 2005 and left in 2007.
2008 - Established The Mason Trust
2009 - Established Future Marine Services Ltd & SafeSTS Limited.

CAPT. BOB GILCHRIST


MARINE DIRECTOR

Capt. Bob Gilchrist has been involved in ship-to-ship lightering for over 30
years and was initially trained by Chevron on dedicated lightering ships. He was
a full time Mooring Master for over 7 years and still regularly conducts
operations, both commercial and emergency to keep ship handling skills up to
date. Using his knowledge and experience Capt. Bob has had significant
involvement in the development of both procedures and equipment for side by side
LNG projects worldwide and enjoys working at this pioneering stage to interpret
and implement emerging regulations in the industry.

CAPT. CLIVE HURFORD


QHSE DIRECTOR

Capt. Clive Hurford has a sea-going background with the Shell global trading
fleet and sailed as Master on crude, products, LNG and LPG tankers. Further
experience of the industry was gained in Cargo Expeditor, Ship Inspection and
Marine Technical Advisor roles where he also worked as Marine Supervisor during
barge offtake operations from oil and gas production platforms following
hurricane damage to pipelines in the US Gulf. Recent roles have been Maritime
Assurance based with emphasis on vessel cargo operations, the ship / shore
interface, marine terminal assurance as well as contract management of cargo
expediting and ship-to-ship transfer service providers. He has experience within
Shell's Shipping & Maritime Technical Function as Principle Technical Expert in
areas of Maritime Standards & Assurance and Terminal and Offshore asset
assurance as well as Casualty Response Co-ordinator. Capt. Clive has held a
number of industry positions including OCIMF work groups involved with the STS
Transfer Guide, STS Focus Group, Marine Terminals Focus Group, MTIS Task Force
and the EMEA STS Forum. Capt. Clive joined SafeSTS in August 2017.
