VICENZAORO: A MODERN TRADE SHOW WITH A 70-YEAR HISTORY

The world’s longest-running gold and jewellery B2B event, Vicenzaoro will
celebrate its 70th anniversary in style this year

Italian Exhibition Group’s (IEG) Vicenzaoro kicks off its 70th anniversary
celebrations this year with the upcoming edition taking place from 19-23
January.

Presenting ‘The Heritage for Tomorrow’, Vicenzaoro has a long tradition of
projecting towards and forecasting the future.

The Jewellery Boutique Show – christened Vicenzaoro in the 1980s – is the
longest-running gold and jewelry B2B event which, over 70 years, has grown to
become one of the world’s top three B2B jewelry trade shows.



IEG credits Vicenzaoro’s success to the companies, customers, buyers,
institutions, associations, and media that come together to trade at the Vicenza
Expo Centre in Italy each year.

A place to discover, explore, and be inspired, Vicenzaoro has adapted to remain
contemporary for seven decades.

High-end jewelry and goldsmithing creations will be on show at Vicenzaoro
January (VOJ) 2024, along with the latest Made in Italy collections, top-quality
international manufacturing, components and semi-finished products, diamonds and
gemstones, services, visual merchandising, and packaging – as well as the
most-advanced tech for production and processing at the T.Gold international
show taking place alongside VOJ.

Intercepting key themes for the global jewelry industry, IEG will unveil and
preview all the key trends for the year ahead at this edition.

Vicenzaoro has amassed a heritage of relationships, skills, and values that have
made it a reference platform for the global industry since its founding in 1954.

This 70th anniversary will reaffirm the development and consolidation of the
show’s strategic market leadership and enhance its international reach.

Initiatives will run throughout 2024 to mark the significant milestone.

Sitting at the heart of the celebrations, an exhibition set up in the halls
during the January edition will retrace 70 years of the show in seven stages –
one for each decade.

The exhibition will express the themes, places, treasures, personalities, and
numbers that have contributed to substantiating its allure over the years.

The events at the various editions of Vicenzaoro will also be part of the
narrative, paying homage to the show and the evolution of jewelry.

After VOJ 2024 closes, IEG will begin its recently announced renovation works at
its Vicenza Expo Centre.

Expected to begin in February, the renovation will involve the demolition of
hall 2 (the old ‘pyramid’) and hall 5 to make room for a new, more functional
hall that will redesign and extend the capacity of the fairground.
