The longtime Falcon has become something of a journeyman, as Pittsburgh will
be his fourth team in four years. A hybrid safety/linebacker, Neal's
versatility is the main thing keeping him around at this point, though he
spent nearly all of his 2022 playing safety. He seems like a good bet to make
the Steelers' 53-man roster.

Terms were not immediately disclosed. Peterman somehow started three games in
2022 -- a sign that our troubled times will continue -- and completed
14-of-25 passes for 139 yards, one touchdown, and a career-best (minimum 10
throws) one interception. He'll be the team's third-stringer behind Justin
Fields and P.J. Walker.

RAIDERS SIGNED DEANDRE CARTER, FORMERLY OF THE CHARGERS.
Journeyman wideout Carter has played for four teams in the past three seasons
and is coming off career highs in receptions, targets, and yards in 2022 with
the Chargers. Assuming the Raiders don't move on from Hunter Renfrow
unexpectedly, this looks like a landing spot where Carter will be used more
as a returner than a receiver in 2023. There's not a lot of fantasy upside to
chase between Jimmy Garoppolo and a vet-heavy depth chart that also currently
holds Keelan Cole and Phillip Dorsett behind the starters.

JOE MIXON WOULD BE THE TEAM'S STARTING RUNNING BACK IN 2023.
"Right now, he's on the team," Blackburn said, "and we are going to count on
him until that wouldn't be the case. But yeah, he's the guy. ... I think he's
still got a lot of production in him." Blackburn added she hopes Mixon can
resolve his legal issues in the coming weeks and months. Mixon two weeks ago
was cleared of an off-field incident involving a shooting in his
neighborhood. Meanwhile, the Bengals let Samaje Perine walk in free agency
and head coach Zac Taylor recently talked up RB Trayveon Williams as someone
who has made progress in the Cincy backfield. Most signs point to Mixon being
released this offseason. Entering his age-27 season, Mixon would be sure to
have multiple suitors if the Bengals were to cut ties with him.

TEAMS CALL THEM ABOUT RECEIVERS JERRY JEUDY AND COURTLAND SUTTON."
Graziano's report comes days after Broncos head coach Sean Payton said the
team would not trade Sutton or Jeudy this offseason, denying rumors that both
wideouts were available. The team was reportedly looking for a first round
draft pick in exchange for Jeudy, a scenario that can be generously called a
pipe dream. Graziano said "at this point, with a month left before the draft,
the Broncos are still asking a lot in return. We will see if things change as
the draft gets closer, but for now Jeudy and Sutton remain Broncos and
nothing seems like it's close to happening to change that." Losing Jeudy
would be a blow to whatever remains of Russell Wilson's fantasy prospects.
