Korindo Group (Korindo) was founded in 1969 and is currently one of the leading
companies in various industries in the Southeast Asian market. For more than
five decades of operation, we have upheld sustainable and future-oriented
practices. In addition, we have made a significant contribution to the country’s
economic development.

Initially, Korindo Group put the main focus on hardwood development, which then
switched to plywood and veneer in 1979. Five years later, Korindo expanded into
the newsprint sector and continued into timber plantations in 1993. Finally,
there was the development of a business line in palm oil plantations in 1995.

To date, we have 16 sectors of industry, including forestry, palm oil
plantations, and rubber plantations. In addition, the production of newsprint,
wood, wind towers, factories, and steel structures We also manufacture special
vehicles for shipping, transportation, distribution, securities, multi-finance,
insurance, real estate, and rest areas.

Through this business line, Korindo Group seeks to touch aspects of the nation’s
life through the products and services it produces. Business actors can partner
with us by utilizing logistics, real estate, and rest area services. On the
other hand, the Indonesian people can use insurance and multifinance products
from the Korindo business unit.

We also export various high-value natural products, such as palm oil
plantations. This step allows Korindo Group to contribute to Indonesia’s economy
and development through foreign exchange donations.

KORINDO’S CAREER SELECTION PROCESS

Korindo Group strives to recruit the right human resources (HR). We also ensure
that those who have dedicated their time to us will grow and develop together.

In the recruitment process, there are several stages that prospective employees
must pass through.


ADMINISTRATIVE SELECTION

In this stage, Korindo Career will ensure the correctness of the data and
documents that have been sent by prospective employees to our official email.
This stage aims to help us understand your career path and abilities. Some of
the documents that are usually needed are curriculum vitae, job application
letters, diplomas, transcripts, and photographs.


PERSONALITY TEST

In the personality test process, prospective employees are asked to take a
number of different tests within a predetermined time period.


INTERVIEWS

After that, the Korindo Careers representative will have a formal and
comprehensive conversation with the prospective employee. This stage is carried
out so that we can carry out further evaluation before deciding to recruit
applicants.

At this stage, we will usually dig up information that prospective employees
know about Korindo Careers and the field of work they are aiming for.


OFFER LETTERS

This stage is the last step of the recruitment process as well as the first step
of the work agreement between the company and the employees. The offer letter
explains the rights and responsibilities of the employee.

We remind you to be aware of potential fraudulent activities by individuals or
groups posing as recruitment agencies. Korindo Careers wants to emphasize that
each of our business units has never asked candidates to pay administration
fees.


KORINDO FOR INDONESIAN CITIZENS



Korindo’s activities, which include a wide range of business areas, are
supported by tens of thousands of workers. We are also equipped with a
foundation entity that functions to carry out social activities. This activity
has absorbed 25 thousand direct workers and 20 thousand indirect workers, not
including contractors.

At its inception, Korindo Group implemented the motto ‘Green Tomorrow’ as a
guideline for running an environmentally friendly company. Turning 50 years old
in 2019, there was a change in the motto to ‘One Step Ahead’. This step is the
beginning of a change for the better.

Major changes are intended to increase value for stakeholders and build a more
competitive and superior company. On the other hand, we hope that this step will
provide benefits through environmentally friendly company management and the
improvement of occupational safety and health in all subsidiaries of Korindo
Group.

We have aspirations and a strong commitment to become an Indonesian national

THE KORINDO FOUNDATION IS ALWAYS PRESENT IN INDONESIA.

Korindo Group has a sense of responsibility to take part in helping people in
need. This commitment is upheld by us as a company that has been part of
Indonesia for more than 50 years.

People who live in areas affected by natural disasters also deserve our
attention. The company has provided a number of services in recent years,
including:


DONATION TO FLOOD-AFFECTED VILLAGES IN KOBAR

In 2017, the Korindo Foundation provided aid to 10 flood-affected villages in
West Kotawaringin, North Arut, and Central Kalimantan. The total aid for
groceries and medicines reached around IDR 100 million.

In addition, we also mobilize medical personnel and provide free health services
by visiting residents’ homes directly. This was accomplished in collaboration
with the West Kotawaringin Health Office.


HELP FOR THE LOMBOK EARTHQUAKE

In 2018, an earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter Scale (SR) hit the Lombok
area, West Nusa Tenggara. At that time, Korindo Group immediately cooperated
with Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) to distribute aid. Donations in the form of 58
large boxes containing logistical needs and basic materials were distributed to
affected residents.


KORINDO PLYWOOD DONATION TO PALU AND DONGGALA

Still in 2018, Indonesia was hit by another disaster with an earthquake and
tsunami that hit the Palu and Donggala areas of Central Sulawesi. Korindo
Foundation distributed Rp 7 billion for plywood raw materials (plywood) through
the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Central Headquarters.

A total of 112,120 sheets of plywood were shipped using the company’s Asike
Global ship. The wood was used to build temporary shelters for earthquake
victims who lost their homes in Palu, Donggala, Sigi, and other areas around
Central Sulawesi. As much as 45 percent of the total aid was distributed to
Sigi, the area that was the most severely damaged.

Plywood is also used to make household furniture and public facilities.
According to PMI data, this aid has helped at least 8,500 residents in five
regions in Central Sulawesi.


DONATIONS FOR THE BANTEN TSUNAMI

Korindo Foundation went directly to the Banten area, which was hit by the
tsunami at the end of 2018. Assistance in the form of basic necessities such as
instant noodles, mineral water, school uniforms, shoes, and school bags for
children was distributed to local residents. Assistance was focused on
Sumberjaya Village, Sumur, and Pandeglang as villages that suffered quite severe
damage.

Korindo Group also gave aid for the fire that occurred in February 2019 in the
Asgon area of Mappi, Papua. The fire left about 700 residents homeless. To help
with the recovery efforts, the Korindo Foundation donated Rp. 100 million in
cash, which was received directly by Mappi Regent.


DONATIONS FOR SENTANI AND HALMAHERA

The provision of cash aid was carried out again the following month for the
Sentani area, Jayapura, which was affected by the flash floods on March 16,
2019. This disaster left 122 people dead and 5,347 homes destroyed. The handover
of aid in the form of cash worth Rp. 200 million was carried out at the Jayapura
Regent’s office, which became the central post for the flood disaster.

In the same year, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit Halmahera, North Maluku.
Korindo Group will immediately distribute at least 256 tons of clean water to
residents of the area. The aid provided was in accordance with a report from the
National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), which stated that clean water was
the most urgent need for the victims.

Apart from that, the company also handed over help in the form of heavy
equipment and building materials consisting of 1,000 sheets of plywood and 200
sheets of tarpaulin. This aid is useful in cleaning and repairing roads as well
as infrastructure. Thanks to this donation, eight villages were reported to have
been helped, namely Gane Dalam Village, Gane Village, Yamli Village, Sekely
Village, Kurunga Village, Yomen Village, Jibubu Village, and Awis Village.

The aid mentioned above is a form of the company’s participation in helping
revive the enthusiasm and hope of the people who are experiencing difficult
times. Korindo Group understands that none of this is worth the pain and loss
that the affected residents feel. However, we hope that this gift can lighten
their burden a little.
