WHEN IS THE EVENT?

The Honeybee Festival is the third Saturday in August! August 17, 2024


WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?

The Honeybee Festival is held at the Fourth of July Park (702 W. Mountain
Street, Kernersville, NC).


ARE PETS ALLOWED?

This is a pet friendly event. Pets must be on a leash.


WILL THERE BE ANY ENTERTAINMENT?

Activity/Entertainment information can be found HERE.


PARKING?

Parking is available at Kernersville Elementary School (512 W Mountain St). You
can access the event from the bus parking lot or walk along the sidewalk into
the event from West Mountain Street.

***Available Accessible parking is located in the front parking lot of Fourth of
July park off of West Mountain St. Please follow signage and have your placard
in place. If the lot is full you will have to continue to access parking
elsewhere.


WHAT IF IT RAINS?

This is a rain-or-shine event. If there are Thunderstorms forecasted the most up
to date information will be posted on our Facebook Page


WILL THERE BE AN ATM MACHINES ON SITE?

No, we will not have an ATM on site. The closest ATMs are First Citizens Bank
(134 South Main St.), Bank of America (205 E Mountain St.), and Wells Fargo (115
Century Place Blvd.). Most vendors do accept cards or apple pay, but it is up to
the vendor.


CAN I RIDE SKATEBOARDS OR BIKES IN THE PARK?

No, for the safety of others with the high level of pedestrian traffic, we do
not allow the riding of skateboards or bikes. The skate park will be closed
during the event.


DO YOU CHARGE ADMISSION?

No, admission is FREE. BEE sure to bring money for the vendors, activities and
food trucks


IS THERE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE ON SITE?

Yes, Kernersville Police and Fire Rescue Departments are on site. They are
located in the parking lot in front of the food court.


CAN I VOLUNTEER?

Yes you can! We would love for you to be a part of this Kernersville
tradition. Please contact us and we will be more than happy to sign you up,
