We developed a novel protocol which allows to provide model-based (continuous)
feedback to participants ("on this trial, your p(correct) was = .75"). Given
that feedback is model-based, we can manipulate the generative values of alpha
and beta underlying the feedback

Long story extremely short: if you provide participants with alpha (vs beta)
biased feedback, they compute confidence using alpha (vs beta) biased
parameters. Thus, direct support for our LDC model.
