PROGRESSIO TO CLOSE AFTER 76 YEARS

International development charity Progressio closes on 31 March 2017

CLOSURE OF PROGRESSIO

Celebrating a life, leaving a legacy: our contribution to social justice and
sustainable development

 * Progressio, previously known as CIIR, ceased trading on 30 June 2017. It was
an international development charity supporting poor and marginalised people,
   especially women, to empower themselves.
 * We listen to what poor and marginalised people say needs to change in their
   communities.
 * We work alongside local organisations to make change happen.
 * We share skills and knowledge with local people to ensure that our impact is
   felt long after we leave.
 * To us, success is local people empowering themselves to overcome the
obstacles that keep them marginalised or in poverty.
