This concept of a virtual mounted drive really solves a problem I have. You can
navigate to the top level of the Finder, or you can use the menubar app to show
them in the Finder. There are two ways to view your virtual cloud drives.
CloudMounter walks you through how to do it so it’s pretty easy. You do need to
enable a CloudMounter extension in System Preferences in order to see the
loading status of the files you’ll have located on your mounted drives. You can
of course also have these services installed separately from CloudMounter so if
you want some files locally synced for times when you’re off the ‘net, you can
do that in parallel to using CloudMounter. Nothing is synced locally to your
machine, and yet all of it is available to you, as long as you have an Internet
connection. Once you’ve authenticated to them using CloudMounter, each storage
service shows up as a (virtual) mounted drive, not a folder on your desktop. You
install CloudMounter on your Mac (or PC) and then you add connections to your
various cloud services. And what if you add OneDrive and Box and Google Drive to
your arsenal? They all have selective sync options but your management job is
just multiplied.ĬloudMounter solves this problem in an interesting way. Dropbox
does have a feature called Selective Sync so you can pick and choose which files
are locally stored, but it requires you to keep managing those folders. Pretty
soon this becomes a problem because you don’t have enough internal storage to
keep all of that data locally. You start filling that up with data, and Dropbox
automatically keeps a local copy and a cloud copy. Let’s walk through the

characters into an entry dialog? You can also change the default behavior by
disabling DATASEC from the preferences menu. To correct this problem, either
disable DATASEC support, via the Scale menu, or correct the the value of DATASEC
in the fits header. Therefor, when DS9 opens the image, it finds no valid data
to display. However, a number of fits images with this keyword, have invalid
values. This is very important for images created from CCDs with over scan and
bias strips. This keyword specifies what portion of the image is valid data, for
calculating min / max and for displaying. New with version 2.1, is support for
the DATASEC keyword. Yet everything, including the color bar seems to work? When
I open my FITS image, all I see is 'white'. In summary, don't strip the DS9
binary and everything works fine. It appears that the strip command is stripping
part of the archive, hence DS9 is unable to un-compress it. The application DS9
is already stripped of debugging symbols when built. The first thing DS9 does is
to create a virtual file system in memory and unpack that archive into memory.
To do this, DS9 is really an application, along with an zip archive attached. To
create a stand alone application, we fool tcl/tk into thinking that it has a
valid installation. My system admin stripped the DS9 binary and now DS9 fails to
start with the following error message:Īpplication initialization failed: Can't
find a usable tk.tcl in the following directories.ĭS9 is based on tcl/tk which
is a scripting language which requires many support files. In any case, if the
temp directory is not writable, or you have specified an invalid directory in
the preferences, these functions will fail with a variety of error messages. For
Windows users, this will vary, depending on which version of Windows you have.
This is usually defined as /tmp for Linux and MacOSX users. By default, this

Commanded by General der Panzertruppen Georg Jauer, the division arrived on the
Ukrainian Front on the 8th November, just in time as the 4th Panzer Army was in
serious trouble due to violent Soviet attacks which had captured Kiev and were
in position to encircle the whole 4th Panzer Army. In October 1943, the division
was transferred to the Eastern Front and was attached to the 4th Panzer Army,(
Army Group North Ukraine). After being transferred to Northern France in
September/October for training exercises, the division was sent east, and
eventually arrived on the Eastern front (central sector)in early November 1943.
Soon after its creation in February, the division engaged with Norwegian
Partisans near Rjukan, and then in late August sailed to Denmark to take part in
Operation Tivoliasflug, the disarming of the Danish Army. Existing units were
renamed, and new ones formed in order to get the new division to actual
divisional strength, although it remained well under even when it moved to
France in September 1943. Divisional staff were formed in Eberswalde Germany,
(their new home station)and arrived in Oslo, Norway on 5 March.

When the Russian campaign did not end in 1941 as planned, the Verband was
re-designated the 25th Panzer Division on 25 February 1942, although there was
little increased strength to the original numbers of the Verband. The
'Rhineland-Westphalia 25th Panzer' was formed in Norway on as the
'Schutzen-Verband Oslo', It was created to spearhead the possible invasion of
Sweden and a full Panzer Division was not considered necessary for this task.
