And always sweat the details. * DIGITAL STRATEGY Ever evolving technology, new social platforms, new devices, constantly morphing standards . . . you have to live, breathe, and sleep digital to understand this landscape. And as much as metrics can provide insight and answers, digital marketing is part science and part art. Luckily, I draw from over a decade and a half of experience creating digital creative for some of the world's top brands. * CREATIVE CONCEPTING "The Big Idea". It's what resonates in consumers minds and what separates the hum-drum from brands that become icons. It earns social buzz, brand loyalty, and drives sales. I believe that any project has the potential to become something truly amazing – if you can look past the easy and comfortable solutions, and you're willing to bleed for the love of the project. * PROJECT MANAGEMENT No mater the project, it's got to get done right and it's got to be up on time. Devising a clear path to get there and keeping everyone organized and accountable is where the type-A side of me comes in, even if nothing ever follows a straight line. * UI/UX I believe that a clear and empathetic understanding of your users and their objectives should always inform design decisions. From informational site, to highly functional application, to immersive games, there's always an optimal balance of experience and usability. Responsible for detailed project planning and proposals. 2008 - 2013 JUMP CO. • DIGITAL DIRECTOR Led digital strategy and creative direction on projects for clients including NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, Code3, St. John’s Hospital, HSHS Medical Group, & Millikin University. Developed creative concept, planning, information architecture, UI and visual design for websites, interactive games, cross-platform marketing campaigns and brand experiences, digital ads, social media strategy, etc. Managed internal and external design and development resources. Developed interactive standards and processes for the company. 2006 - 2008 MOMENTUM WORLDWIDE • DIGITAL CREATIVE DIRECTOR Guided creative and digital strategy on many projects for companies such as Intel, Microsoft, Disney/Pixar, Paramount Pictures/Bad Robot, Toshiba, Best Buy, Smucker's, BEC, Office Depot, Allergan, Aflac, and more. Led and collaborated with teams of creatives and developers to concept and produce complicated interactive projects on tight time lines. Managed internal and external resources on multiple projects simultaneously. Fostered digital and interactive thinking and know-how within the team and throughout the company as a whole. 2004-2006 INFUZ • CREATIVE DIRECTOR Managed strategic execution of creative concepts across websites, rich media banners, emails, and other online promotions for brands including Tidy Cats, secondnature brand Dog Litter, Yesterday's News, and eight Purina Treats brands.
