Welcome to your journey to become an Automation Specialist for Tricentis Tosca. 

An Automation Specialist  for Tricentis Tosca has a deep practical knowledge of
an application being tested. They are responsible for creating, maintaining, and
executing automated Test Cases according to best practices, creating and
maintaining test data using TestCase Design, as well as creating Test Case
instances which reflect real business use cases. This role path is suitable for
entry level software engineers or QA engineers, who have manual or automated
testing experience. This path takes 9 days to complete, or 72 hours, and
consists of the four courses below.


The objectives of this learning path include enabling practitioners to describe
the processes and best practices of creating and executing model-based tests
using Tosca, static test data management and data driven testing using Tosca,
and best practices for test creation. In addition, practitioners can expect to
learn how to explore the out of the box automation capabilities using the TBox
engines of Tosca for robust test automation as well as exploring a risk-based
testing approach using Tosca.

Specific tasks practitioners are enabled to carry out, once completing this path
are:
     1. Create Modules using Tosca XScan and use them to create end to end Test
Cases following best practices 
     2. Create static test data using the TestCase Design section
     3. Create and risk weight the requirements 
     4. Execute and analyze the Test Cases
     5. Leverage the out of the box functionalities and TBox engines to create
end to end tests
