MEET PETER DAVID BROWN’S OFFICIAL MASCOTS

You’ve probably seen them on TV or your social media feeds. They’re the most
famous basset hounds in South Carolina (and perhaps the most adorable)…Buster
and Biscuit! Serving as official mascots for The Law Office of Peter David
Brown, Buster and Biscuit ensure that everything we do for our clients is
“Basset Approved”!

For our fellow floppy-eared hound lovers who may be wondering…yes! Buster and
Biscuit are siblings. Well, half-siblings. Buster and Biscuit share the same
father, but have different mothers. They come from the well-respected “Rusbud
Bloodline”, and are 92% European Basset. Buster and Biscuit live at home with
Pete Brown and his wife Deb in Mount Pleasant, SC, and the two are practically
inseparable. They LOVE to wrestle and tug, and are quite active (despite their
droopy appearance). Biscuit is the initiator of most of the trouble and
“unexplained chewings” around the house. Biscuit is also known to be quite a
good cuddler! Buster runs wingman for Biscuit, always willing to follow her into
whatever caper lies ahead. Buster also serves as the preferred playmate of Pete
and Deb’s other pup, Molly the Golden Retriever.

Buster and Biscuit have become quite popular across Charleston and South
Carolina, starring in TV spots and making social media appearances as
Charleston’s Top Dogs, promoting the office’s experience in handling tough DUI
and Personal Injury cases, as well as Criminal Defense, Auto Accidents and
Expungements.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT BASSET HOUNDS


 * This beautiful breed originates from France!
 * Basset Hounds have the second best sense of smell. Running up closely behind
   the Bloodhound!
 * Fun Fact: This breed is the only dog that has been elected as co-mayor.
 * Basset Hounds are considered one of the most melodious breeds around.
 * “Basset” derives from the French word “bas” which means “low”.
 * Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog” was a Basset Hound.
 * Southern hunters and farmers would give fried corn balls to their howling
   Basset Hound packs to quiet them down. Hence the name “hush puppies”.
