WELCOME TO APICON 2024 DELHI



DEAR FRIENDS & COLLEAGUES,

On behalf of the organising committee of APICON 2024 Delhi, it is indeed a great
pleasure to invite you all to the 79th Annual Conference of Association of
Physicians of India, scheduled at New Delhi, The National Capital.
This annual conference will attempt to provide an academic feast of latest
developments in the field of medicine. In addition to providing clinical updates
relevant to the practice of medicine, the conference will also provide a
platform to our members and fellow physicians to interact and exchange views,
and help improve the understanding of medicine. At the same time this conference
will also create opportunities for connecting with leaders in the field of
medicine from across India & other countries. Very relevant are the recent
advances, developments and increasing influences of technology in medical
sciences and APICON 2024 shall prove to be a superb opportunity to experience
first-hand, the influence of technology in practicing medicine as well as the
organizing of a hi-tech conference.

Delhi, the political center of India is of great historical significance as an
important commercial, transport, and cultural hub. The city is well connected
with the neighbouring regions and other major cities of India through all modes,
airways, railways and roadways. The temperature in Delhi during February is most
comfortable and favorable. We look forward to your presence along with your

ABOUT DELHI

Delhi is of great historical significance as an important commercial, transport,
and cultural hub, as well as the political centre of India. According to legend,
the city was named for Raja Dhilu, a king who reigned in the region in the 1st
century. Whether it was the Mughal Empire or the British Raj, Delhi has always
been home to some of the most beautiful heritage sites in the world. From
Indraprastha to Lutyens' Delhi, you'll be able to spot remnants of every era
that the city has gone through. Delhi boasts of a host of historical monuments
as well as newer additions viz. Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, Red Fort,
India Gate, Jantar Mantar, Qutab Minar, Birla Temple, Jama Masjid, the Shahid
Smarak, Kartavya Path (the renovated and renamed Raj path), Signature Bridge.
Apart from the monuments, the famous markets with their delicious cuisines are
also famous. These include, Connaught Place, Janpath, Pandara Road, Khan Market,
Chandni Chowk, Humayun’s tomb, Safdar Jung tomb, Lotus temple, Akshardham
temple, Lodhi garden, Talkatora garden, Delhi Haat. South Extension, to name a
few. The National Zoological park and boating at the Purana Quila Fort, which
are so close to the venue of APICON 2024 are added attractions. . For the
Children, Bal Bhawan and Shankar's Doll's Museum are also in the vicinity. The
list of places to visit is endless, and February offers one of the best seasons
to visit Delhi

CONFERENCE VENUE: PRAGATI MAIDAN

International Exhibition Cum Convention Centre (IECC), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi
is a venue for large exhibitions and conventions in the city of New Delhi,
India. It has an area of nearly 150 acres of exhibition space, being among the
biggest exhibition centers in India. The IECC Venue is managed by the India
Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO). IECC is situated in the heart of the city
and recently has been renovated in view of the G-20 summit being hosted by
India. The International Convention Centre where the G-20 summit is being
hosted, will be used for hosting the APICON 2024. It is a magnificent venue and
has state-of-the-art facilities. There are several halls and committee rooms, an
amphitheatre and large areas for the exhibition and dining. The Venue will
itself be a great tourist attraction for the delegates and faculty who will get
a chance to visit it, because of the APICON 2024 being held here. The view of
Delhi landscape from the heart of the city will be visible from this Convention
Centre and would be delight for all delegates.
