WINTER COMMENCEMENT 2021
York College held a ceremony on December 16 to recognize the accomplishments of
73 students who completed the requirements for graduation after the fall
semester.
YORK COLLEGE ADDS COMPUTER SCIENCE AND CYBERSECURITY MAJORS
York College announced two new majors in Computer
Science and Cybersecurity today. York College expects that these new academic
programs will provide students with expertise in a high-growth field in which
employers are desperately searching for talent.
"We are excited for this next step in our academic growth,” shared Dr. Shane
Mountjoy, provost. “The Computer Science and Cybersecurity programs fit nicely
into our Science and Mathematics programs and allow for more options for our
students in their studies and future careers."

In a new effort to remember Brian Lemons, his influence, and the impact of his
family over the course of more than twenty years, Richard and Rachel James have
stepped forward with a $200,000 challenge gift designated to fully renovate the
athletic training room.
