SANDY NOBLE JEWELLERY About Gallery ABOUT Sandy first started creating jewellery when he was 16 from items found whilst beach combing. He then went to Edinburgh College of Art where he never set foot in the jewellery department for some now inconceivable reason. Instead he studied sculpture and then went on to study engineering technology before meeting his wife April and spending 30 years working as a decorative artist/designer and sculptor. He has created many varied items with April over the years , including animatronic wings for Universal Studios, and traditional gallows for Scottish Opera. Throughout this time he has always dabbled with jewellery but has in the last 4 years realised that his true love and skill is in jewellery. During these last few years he has researched and taught himself a number of new skills and is now moving towards being a full-time jeweller. Sandy is entirely self taught, and though it can be rewarding and creative it's not a route he would recommend.
