OUR STORY

Janesa and Quinton met in Atlanta, GA the way most millennials do, online! After
about a week of laughing at Quinton’s jokes and random conversations about their
days, they finally decided to meet at Piedmont Park IRL, aka…in real life. The
first meeting at Piedmont included a six mile walk around the park with lots of
laughs. Janesa remembers Quinton saying “Oh My God” when he first walked up,
which made her laugh and his big smile. Quinton remembers seeing Janesa’s smile
with her deep dimples and “freckles” and was super excited she wasn’t a catfish.
Two days later they went on their first official date and have been inseparable
since.

A few of Quinton and Janesa’s favorite activities include: working out together;
going to sporting events (especially Hawks’ games); going to concerts; trying
new restaurants around Atlanta; walking with their dog Maggie; traveling; and
simply relaxing at home catching up on new shows.

Quinton’s proposal to Janesa was a complete surprise to her. Janesa thought they
were having dinner for their moms to meet for the first time. The day before the
dinner, Quinton’s mom texted Janesa saying Quinton was unable to come to the
dinner because the restaurant was overbooked. Despite being devastated Quinton
couldn’t join them, dinner went on. About an hour into the dinner, Quinton
showed up unannounced to Janesa and got on one knee. Janesa was literally at a
loss for words (which doesn’t happen often), but Janesa managed to say “Yes”!

Janesa and Quinton are so excited for you to join them as they say "I do" in
front of family and friends at their wedding in August 2024.
