See Services ABOUT ME Lindsay Bartos is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing individual, couples, and group therapy. Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in food and nutrition from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, and a Master of Arts Degree in counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myers, FL. Licenses and Certifications: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR). Through our therapy I help each individual understand what defined their developmental process and the relationship between the psyche and how one relates to their current environment. Individuals tend to manifest patterns in current relationships depending on the experiences they had as a child with parents, siblings or guardians. Experiences will eventually build a standard in the mind. We often then carry a standard or "object" around as an adult attaching it to every relationship or event.
