WELCOME TO CONSTANTIA GLEN SECURITY VILLAGE

The High Court has given Constantia Glen Security Village the authority to
implement the CGSV Security Village Scheme.

MISSION

To ensure “A Secure Lifestyle” for all residents in the area.

With its boundaries of Solomon Mahlangu, January Masilela, Rosslyn and Lois
streets, CGSV is one of the biggest closures in the City of Tshwane.

HISTORY

CGSV was started approximately 13 years ago – please change to CGSV was started
in 2002 with the sole purpose to ensure the safety of residents in the
designated area. This has now expanded to liaison with any and all parties
concerned with the safety of residents such as SAPS, Security Companies and city
council of Tshwane

In our area access is controlled by means of 2 x 24 hour manned main entrance
gates at William Nicol South and Eiseb streets. 3 X 19 hour manned main entrance
gates at Judith, Duvernoy and Dwyka Streets. During the hours that the 3 gates
are locked the guards patrol the area on foot actively preventing crime.

At the main entrance booms, a guardhouse and cameras have been erected.
Residents and visitors gains access by a hand movement sensor. This triggers the
boom to open.

License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras are erected at every incoming entrance
to monitor all vehicles and these LPR cameras are linked to the Fidelity/ADT
control room as well as to the SAPS war room in Johannesburg for wanted cars.

The scheme is run as a registered non-profit organisation that is fully audited
annually.

CGSV – RECYCLING ***FREE OF CHARGE***

Dear Members it has been an ongoing and now escalating issue that City of
Tshwane is battling to dispose of household waste and they cannot open any new
dumping sites, they do not have the funds or the space for this. We as CGSV can
contribute towards and lessen the load by participating in the (already
existing) Waste Recycling but to a much larger extent.

Global Waste collects recyclable items on Wednesdays in our area. This is a FREE
service. Many other recycling companies require a monthly/annual contribution
for this service. We want to encourage you to participate (if not already). Bags
don’t have to be separated, they do this for us. All in one bag. YOUR bag for 52
weeks can make a huge difference to assist saving our land.

We urge you to please help and register with Global Waste – just for them to
know where to collect the bags – email: admin@globalwaste.co.za. You only need
to put out a black bag with your stuff in on the pavement of your property for
the first time, they will leave a clear bag for the next collection
