HOW TO REMOVE CORTANA IN WINDOWS 10




CORTANA IN WINDOWS 10 USES A LOT OF RESOURCES. YOU CAN SAFELY REMOVE OR DISABLE
CORTANA IN WINDOWS 10.


There are two methods you can use to disable Cortana. Use method 1 if you have
windows 10 Professional or above version. If you have windows home or premium
version please use method 2.

I strongly recommend you to create the system restore before using any of the
below methods. So if you run into any issue you can always go back to the
previous stage of the windows.

Method 1:

Type Group Policy in Windows 10 Search




Open Group Policy editor

Navigate to Local group Policy --> Administrative template --> Windows
components --> Search (Please check Image above)

Here right-hand side you will see Allow Cortana.

Double click and open it. Here click on Disable and press Apply and OK




Reboot your computer. Now you will still see Cortana in windows 10 process but
it will run only for windows search.

Method 2:

If you have windows 10 home or premium version you need to use
the registry editor to disable Cortana.

Open registry editor by typing Regedit in windows search






Navigate
to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows
Search

Righ hand side you will see AllowCortana . Double click on it and change
Hexadecimal value to 0




Reboot your PC. If you don't see AllowCotrana right click on blank space and
create Dword. Make sure you name exactly AllowCortana (A and C capital)

INTERNET CONNECTED BUT NOT WORKING WINDOWS 10 (SOLVED)


Many of my clients have this issue with Internet connection on windows 10. It
says the Internet-connected but not working. I thought writing blog on this
issue may help many people here.

First of all, make sure your internet is working using other laptop or mobile
device. Once you are sure Modem or internet provider does not have the issue you
can go ahead and try the below solution.

Method 1:  This method will solve the issue temporary. Once you will restart PC
 it will have the same issue.

Open Command prompt
Type CMD in search and right click and click RUN as Administrator
Once command prompt open Type netsh int ip reset Press OK




Check your Internet will start working


Method 2: Permanent solution of the issue "Internet connected but not working"

Open device manager (type device manager and open it)




Here look for Network Adapter and expand it. Right click on wi fi network
adapter and click on Uninstall Device. 



Once it is uninstalled restart your Laptop. Windows will automatically reinstall
the driver. Your Internet will start working.

If it still says the Internet-connected but not working. go to device manager as
per above instruction and right click on wifi network device and click update
driver.

SUPERFATCH IS USING LOT OF DISK POWER WINDOWS 10






SUPERFATCH SERVICE IS USING LOT OF CPU AND DISK. IS IT SAFE TO TURN OFF ? HOW TO
TURN OFF SUPERFATCH SERVICE ON WINDOWS 10



What is Superfatch Service ?

Superfatch service is windows service. By default it runs automatically.
Superfatch is designed to speedup application launching by Preloading
application using your usage pattern.  Sometimes this affect your computer
performance. It is good for PCs with higher end CPU and good amount of RAM. for
slower PC it is horrible.

How to turn off Superfatch service:

Method 1:

Press Windows Key + R
In search Type Services.msc
In services look for Superfatch
Double click on Superfatch
Click on Stop (This will stop the service)
Under Startup Click on Disable
Press OK


Method 2:

If you cant stop service using services you can use registry editor.

Open registry editor pressing Windows Key and R and typing Regedit

Navigate to


 * HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
 * SYSTEM
 * CurrentControlSet
 * Control
 * Session Manager
 * MemoryManagement
 * PrefetchParameters
   
   Double click on Superfatch and change value to 0 and press OK
   
   registry changes may damage your PC so you must take extra care. Do not use
   registry editor if you are not computer expert.

DISABLED MESSAGE ON IPAD. ENABLE THE DISABLED IPAD WITHOUT LOOSING DATA - SOLVED


Last week my son has entered wrong password many times and it disabled my iPAD.
When i turn my ipad on it was giving me Disabled message on my iPAD.

This method also works with disabled iPhone. This method helps you to enable
your disabled iPAD or iPhone without loosing data.





There are two methods to enable iPAD. first one is to factory restore your iPAD
and other one is just enable without loosing data. 


Enable the disabled iPAD without loosing data.


1. Open iTune on your computer. Make sure do not connect to your iPAD to
computer yet  (this computer must be the same computer where your iPAD is sync
last time)


2. Now connect your disabled iPAD to computer and wait for this to display in
iTune


3. Click on your iPAD name and it will give you two options. Restore the backup
or setup new iPAD


4. Now click on Setup new iPAD and then click Restore


5. The iPAD will automatically start backing up. Make sure to CANCEL THE BACKUP
IMMEDIATELY.  you can cancel by clicking x on stats window in iTune.


6. When back up cancels it will start automatically syncing. . cancel this as
well by clicking x on status window in iTune


7. It will start restore your iPad. The first process in restoring iPAD unlock
your iPAD. As soon as your iPAD is unlocks make sure to cancel restore process
as well.


This method works on disabled iPhone as well.

DROPBOX PASSWORD HACKED




An unnamed hacker group is claiming that it has accessed more then 6 Million
Dropbox accounts, and if they will be paid enough in Bitcoin, the group intends
to publish more than the 1,200 usernames and passwords that it has released.
After this publication online, Dropbox issued a statement saying that their
server had not been hacked. The username and password had been stollen from
other services and was used to login to Dropbox account. 

Dropbox still issued warning to users to change their password and enable two
way authentication.
It is better to change password even you think your account has not been
compromised.

WINDOWS 8 ERROR NAME: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT STOP CODE: 0X0000001A SOLVED


Many windows 8 users get Memory_management stop error 0x0000001A and Blue screen
of death




This is related software or hardware issue. Follow below steps to solve this
issue.

1) Log in to Windows 8

2) press "Windows key" and  "R"  together to open Run apps


+


3) Type "CMD" and press OK



4) in Command prompt type " SFC /scannow"





5) Let it run and then restart computer


6) Check if this error goes away


If you still have issue then it could be faulty physical RAM. try removing and
inserting RAM again otherwise change RAM

CAN NOT INSTALL PROGRAM ON MAC: UNIDENTIFIED DEVELOPERS


MAC :  Program does not install on MAC. error: Program cant be opened because it
is from Unidentified Developers.








This is becasue of security reason. You can change this settings.


Click on Apple symbol on left hand side top and select System Preference. 


1.  Apple icon --> System Preference


2. Click on Security & Privacy


3. Make sure general TAB is selected and click on Lock Sign at bottom.





4. It will ask MAC username and password. supply login details and click ok.


5. change it to Anywhere and close system preference.


6. Install Program.


Make sure to change settings back to MAC apple store and identified developer
